Happy Thanksgiving
Couldn't figure out what category this should be in, but Culture seemed like as good a place as any.
Being in this room for the past several years has been such a plus in my life. There are some great minds here, and a myriad of perspectives on the various topics. So many of the posts have asked questions that needed to be asked, and the answers have been so educational and enlightening for me. And the answers to my posts and questions have run the gamut from funny as Hell to completely eye-opening. I have learned a lot about others, and a lot about myself. I'm definitely better off for having discovered The Gulch.
So I just wanted to say thanks to everyone here in The Gulch, and I want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.

This year seems so much brighter than the last four.
Have a GREAT DAY.
rainman0720, I agree. Coming to the Gulch was a good move. Knowledge and humor all in one place!
Peekaboos who with interest only looks in here, that goes for you too.
The big news for us is our return to DFW (where we have always belonged, and should never have left). I’m just so glad I’ve lived long enough to get back there (in about a month). We’ve already bought a house and just can’t wait to move in!
Also every day in every way I learn a little bit more about why and how my son - already a delightful person - and his wife - even more so - are so kind as to help me when I need it. That may sound a little strange but what I mean by that is that now we have bought the house but can’t be there (job transfer isn’t until next month) he goes and checks on the house, makes sure everything’s okay and no pipes are burst. Does all the little stuff that will keep the house “alive” until we can get there.
Lots to be thankful for, and that includes all of you, too!
And it is a producers Holiday!
