While thinking about how to reply here, it occurred to me his face would be a perfect match should he wear the Imperial Army uniform of a Star Wars villain, especially with that odd gray cap they wear.
You see, he said he only "misspoke" when he tried to bag votes when he told that whopper.
What he did was enlist in the Marine Corps Reserve which "virtually guaranteed" he would not go to Nam.
Me dino was in the Marines. Did I go to Nam? Big time nope and never said I did. Why? I have respect for myself and even more for Marines placed in that awful position.
Marines actually drafted me in '69. Thought I was gonna die for what I correctly believed--as it all turned out--would be for nothing.
Marines were recruiting all the gung ho "grunts" they needed but were hurting for those who could handle being admin clerks and supply clerks. As a supply clerk at air base Cherry Point, North Carolina, I made corporal within my draftee two-year sentence "under meritorious conditions."
I can brag about that because it is true. Even kept the citation that proves it. Blooperthal, what for only being misspoken have you got?
What really turns my stomach about that hypocrite Blumenthal is how many times over the years I've seen him bray into a microphone to impugn the character of some Republican about this, that or some other thing.
Hey, Blumenpuke, from one Marine to another, you're filthy slime who disgusts me to the core. Perhaps also to the Corps?
