I respectfully disagree. It isn't a shooting war, but a war all the same. Philosophical war, undeclared to the public, but raging in private, is pitting us against each other with one side crying "freedom" as they destroy everything while the other side whispers "rationality" while playing by established rules. "Traitor" does not need a declared war to be properly used. Lawmakers who preach anarchy, break laws, take under the table payments, cheat and steal from the very constituents who elected them are beyond criminality, stepping off that slippery slope into treason. Those who tear down the rule of law and supply fuel to the fire of insurrection are indeed traitors to their country..

The politician who disgusts me the most--yeah, he would take Maduro kickbacks too--is Democrat Richard Blumenthal, who years back got a pass from Connecticut voters for lying about serving in Vietnam.
