Split the US?

So...Who else here would agree with me on this? As an Objectivist my default is to look at current events with an open mind and open eyes. When I watch how media reports recent events, watch how people I know respond to current events...the far out of touch mindsets....I think we are seeing irreconcilable differences. Some states are whacky left. Some states are common sense and making things work. The leadership of some states clearly are fine playing an active role breaking laws and kowtowing to illegal, predatory criminals and immigrants who are hell-bent on defrauding the American taxpayers. It's totally unsustainable and it's clear that Trump and Bondi won't bring criminals to justice sufficiently. How about if we just have red and blue states? My concern if that if we don't call this in such a way we will see red states taken over via voter fraud. Here in NV our Dem Assembly has circumvented the governor by doing a declaration to place on the ballot the issue of mail-in ballots. Of course, mail-in ballots are a ploy to commit voter fraud to take control. It's a tool of the blue. If we don't split the nation as blue/red how does this end? Based on the fact that the blue obviously think the ends justifies the means it's pretty clear we fall to collectivism, excessive gun control, coercive government-backed medical measures, etc.

In the name of the best within you, do not sacrifice this world to those who are its worst. In the name of the values that keep you alive, do not let your vision of man be distorted by the ugly, the cowardly, the mindless... Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle. The world you desired can be won, it exists, it is real, it is possible, it's yours.”

I just finished Bret Baier's book on Ulysses Grant. The nation split neatly along geographic lines. Now we have an uneven geographic split, with 3 major blue islands (Northeast, West Coast, and unfortunately where I live, Colorado). But it is worse than that, because it has devolved in to urban vs rural, with the left taking over most major cities and implanting liberal mayors. Local politics are critical. Very hard to see an even split now.

Very recently me dino heard Trump tell us that he is supported by "the silent majority."
Do believe he referred to a majority that stays pretty much silent~~EXCEPT WHEN WE VOTE!
All WE have to do is to keep the loud-mouthed Jackass Party minority from cheating.
We all know they managed to pull that off before.
Never forget that Infamous January 6.

A major portioin of the silent majority doesn't vote. That is a huge issue. It allows the Jackass Party to use those missing ballots to cheat with. It's proven when more people vote than are on the voter rolls, nobody does anything about it, except the media reports it and then lets it slide. We need to insure the law is excercised to it's fullest on every infraction. Minneapolis would be a good start, arrest and detain anyone that gets in the way or promotes lawlessness. Every day in Minneapolis, more laws are broken than were ever broken on January 6th. The Jackass Party uses this process to the fullest when it suits their purpose, again Jan 6th. People were arrested that were just there. Minneapolis needs to arrerst people breaking the law.

Me dino thinks Trump was speaking for the silent majority who DOES vote. Other than that, we have no arguments. Twenty-one years as a state corrections officer, I suggest ICE and its police support needs to stock up a more ample supply of handcuffs, leg irons, tear gas, assorted electronic jackass pacifiers and prisoner transport vehicles with no side windows. I personally learned something about "shatterproof glass." All it does is break into tiny pieces without sharp edges.

In a dream world, the states would be divided into blue ( the biggest cities) and the rest of the state would be red. The big cities would become enclaves of dissatisfied liberals, the rest would go about their normal business. Blue enclaves would need passports to enter red areas, red areas would need passports to get into blue areas. Separate economies, separate tax bases, blue areas make and enforce their own laws, red areas follow strict Constitutional lines, trade between the areas carefully monitored, folks would have the choice of where they want to live, what kind of laws they want to live by. It would almost be like two countries sharing a continent. I wonder just how long the blue enclaves would last...
Unrealistic, I know, but better than a shootin' war.

I think it would be a matter of time (but not very long) until many blue areas would run out of wealth and/or resources and would try to take it from red areas by decry, then force.

I agree, but since all those blue enclaves believe in gun control, they'll have to build an army to conquer. Red states already have an Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard. Any other incursions just make great target practice for the rest of us. Callous? No. Survival, yes. Will we shoot a fellow human being? It's a question I ask myself each day. The answer is always the same. If my life, my family are in danger, yes.

I believe force will be inevitable as the commie areas run out of wealth of all kinds (mainly food and energy) and to stay in power they will need to take it from anyone who has it.

Of course, the biggest problem is that central government will go to war and
murder millions to prevent anyone leaving their control/enslavement.
Secondly, most people (aka most women and brainwashed males) do not value
freedom as much as safety. They irrationally ignore that the safety is
only achieved by government mafia that will act with force against anyone
who disagrees with their enslavement by government and its corrupt corporatocracy.
Thirdly, millions on social security can't afford any split that eliminates their
    retirement pay addiction.
I don't see any peaceful split in our future.

I'm collecting from SS Ponzi and I figure if the US went to war with itself the currency wouldn't be worth spit and neither will anything connected to it (401k, IRA, etc.). Oh wait, even if the US doesn't go to war with itself the currency isn't going to be worth spit and neither will anything connected to it. Hunker down Gulchers, it's going to be a rough ride.

It's going to be a rough ride, IMO. I don't see a geographic solution by state as the two sides are interspersed. The problem is densely populated cities like NYC drive their states and the rest of the population is stuck with it. Take out NYC and NYS becomes more conservative.

I agree that it would take splitting many states and many people would be left
residing in a state where they intensely disagree with the government and
their employment makes it financially difficult to make a move elsewhere.
Many left-biased cities would be islands surrounded by a sea of right-leaning areas.

California is a state where people reside "where they intensely disagree with the government..." Red Bluff and Redding come to mind. These spots in California are really isolated enclaves because in MANY of the other regions the more conservative minded have left in droves. The impact of the California (alone) exodus on the rest of the nation has been massive. Look at your real estate prices in other states. I don't think all of that is inflation. Regarding California - look up the story on the State of Jefferson.

The exodus from Commifornia was made possible financially by the insanely high real estate prices there. I suspect it's also been mostly people who have talents that are valued everywhere and the lower cost of living in the destinations make them acceptable and desirable enough. Just imo..

Where I'm from the folks who grow the food are mainly conservative and too many of the free food consumers are in the city. If the SHTF it won't take much for the cities to find out where the food comes from. Even murderous Stalin and Mao couldn't make that work without massive attrition.

Denver drives Colorado. Minneapolis drives Minnesota. One city's population roughly equaling half the population of the whole state. It's the same problem all over the nation.

NV huh.... have friends that come to CO in the summer to get away from the "heat" and visit with their children's families. Learned really fast when President Trump took office to never talk politics with the wife especially. She offers her left nonsense real fast from watching CNN no doubt.

    I have a different take.

What you SEE is 100% manipuated.
Therefore: "I think we are seeing irreconcilable differences."

Ofc you are. Because TPTB want us fighting each other.

    Both sides are being manipulated.
Because THEY cannot afford for us to turn against TPTB.
