Just bumped into this and it stunned me, Has AI read your book, or pontificated on anything you've done?
If so, How do you feel about it.

Shocked I am, that AI could summarize my thoughts, my writings.

Not sure how I feel about a non conscious entity reading my work. It didn't say anything wrong. It's just Freaky!

The truth is less salacious. LLMs are trained on large volumes of human generated text. The almost nonexistent writing in favor of individualism doesn’t need to be ignored, it is simply outweighed.

And human writing in bulk has a strong deference to and bias for authority. Every monotheistic religion is inherently authoritarian. All of scientific papers and research is inherently pro-authority. Almost all literature is as well when you think about it.

This is what trains the LLM. It doesn’t need a human to bias it - it is reflecting the bias in our writing. It may be uncomfortable and IMO should be, but it unmistakably true.

Ah, but the "Convenient" chips away at natural and necessary human functions. We think it makes things easy while it eventually creates "can't do, and or, don't want to, do's"
    Not sure that made sense.

Creepy, as I've had it happen. In my 12 year old minivan is an AM/FM/CD/AUX radio - none of this fancy screen stuff cars come with today. The AM/FM functions stopped working (antenna?) so I picked up an Amazon car Alexa cheap at a Goodwill and can use it to listen to virtually any radio station over my iPhone with a "hands free" feature as a bonus by plugging it into the AUX port. It's nice, I have to admit, and there are other things, too. However, more than once my wife and I were having a conversation and Alexa has suddenly joined in without the use of the keyword "Alexa" - or we don't think we enunciated something like it. The walls have ears and they talk back. It's a trade between super convenient or super creepy.

The problem isn't artificial intelligence ... it's the natural stupidity ... of humans.

I'd guess lots of our posts here have been read, and automatically ignored by AI programmers' anti-American, anti-freedom biases built into the AI's programming.
That explains how AI consistently "rules" against individualism and freedom.

How would you feel, think, react, to a non Human, (and it's creators) butting into your discussion with other Humans, or anything else you may have done of any consequence.
