Excerpt:
"As with all commercially marketed digital applications, economic viability depends on user engagement; the longer Facebook can keep its users’ faces glued to the slop doled out by the algorithm, the more ad bucks.

Thus it is with AI chatbots, which have been designed to exhibit “sycophancy” — the combined programmed traits of agreeability and flattery that keep the user engaged by inflating his ego.

In this case, it led our unfortunate protagonist to believe he had invented a theory worth millions of dollars and that he needed to contact the NSA — plus everyone he knew in his professional contacts list — to warn them that he had discovered a massive cybersecurity vulnerability that put the world at existential risk."

Funny, the ad at the bottom of the Gulch screen I'm replying on right now, from an entity called "JustAnswer", is inviting me with the line, "Chat with an Expert Online Now". All I have to do is click on the "OPEN" button. I think (because I can still think) I'll pass on this one. Heavens to mergatroid, do you think we are being monitored, or what?

"Even Hunter knows...", LOL, Your "cyber crack" comment got me thinking along similar lines. The guy got lost as the computer blew smoke up his back side. A lesson for all of us to beware of the cyborg proverbial used car salesman.

I got sucked-in for two seconds by a reply to a question. The answer began- That is a very intelligent question!
My first thought was, Yes indeed!
My second thought was that is the sort of thing I've said to people to cover up my ignorance of the topic.

47 y/o father, corporate recruiter, spends 300 hours over 21 days pulling on the cyber pipe.
Even Hunter knows to come up for air more often.
How much dopamine can you handle?
This is from exterior stimuli. What about implanted tech? Following is an interview with James Martinez. Minute 30 to 35 is very interesting and quite frightening. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtTKO...
