I've been reading "Mao, The Unknown Story" by Jung Chang and Jon Halliday and it is a real eye opener to the workings of one of the most evil individuals in human history. It also shows a blueprint of the communist method taking over a country. You can see some parallels here in the USA. I got ithe Kindle version because Amazon had a sale for $1.99 and I figured why not? Good read!
It looks like Gotham City is stuck with this idiot for as long as DJT is in residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
There is a committee of five city officials that could form and vote the mayor out of office, but it looks like that was designed to only be convened when the mayor is physically unable to do the job.
The governor could force the mayor out, but it looks like there must be some legal reason why (see: Adams, Eric).
I could have missed it, but it sure looks like the one thing that can't happen is a recall election.
I've got my lawn chair and bucket-o-popcorn, and so far it's been a good show.
"He stepped to the window and pointed to the skyscrapers of the city. He said that we had to extinguish the lights of the world, and when we would see the lights of New York go out, we would know that our job was done." Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged
I've often wondered: Was Ayn Rand a true prophet in that she knew/saw what would happen over the next 75 years? Or did a few Libtards read Atlas Shrugged and collectively decide "We can make that work"?
Who hadn't already realized that NYC has devolved into a sewer of perversion? I stopped visiting in the late 80's (except for visiting a relative) because broadway creativity had turned to perverted garbage. Wall St had been a sewer of perverted thieves since the 19th century, The rest of NYC has been living off that unproductive den of thieves for decades. Don't do business with enemies.
