Overly Optimistic?
Over the past few weeks and months, I’ve seen some things that have given me a glimmer of hope for the future. But I know I can be a bit naïve at times, missing some of the more subtle nuances of situations.

The voters in the country refused to put Kamala Harris—who couldn’t put together a coherent sentence if her life depended on it—into the White House. And the final results weren’t nearly as close as it seemed.
- - - - -
Another school has finally backed off from its idiotic trans policy, caving to pressure from the Trump administration to restore sanity by keeping men out of women’s sports (and out of their locker rooms).
- - - - -
What the Dems tried so hard to keep buried is finally seeing the light of day. There are a slew of
documents that prove—as David Marcus so clearly stated—Democrats lied, and half the country believed them. (Link to that Fox News story below)
Everyone from Shrillary and Obummer to Clapper, Brennan, Comey, et al is being exposed for what they truly are: traitors. And while the MSM is doing its best to ignore the issue, it ain’t going away.
- - - - -
Trump’s tariffs have not only NOT cratered the economy, but they’ve forced a lot of changes to agreements we had with other countries, resulting in better deals for the U. S.
- - - - -
Public funding of NPR and PBS has, at long last, been cut. I am no longer forced to support an organization that constantly criticizes everything that I believe in, which is everything that doesn’t conform to the leftie agenda.

Jeff Bezos has, at least by all appearances, tried to turn the Washington Post into something resembling an objective publication.

While there are still far too many crimes being committed by some of the millions and millions of illegal aliens that the previous administration let in, new crossings by illegals are down to almost nothing. The problem might not get solved, but it might not get worse.
- - - - -
Mamdani’s brand of insanity is being displayed front and center, and his past posts about defunding the police are coming back to haunt him. Everyone is able to see in the light of day just how batshit crazy this guy really is.
- - - - -
The stock prices for Target and Anheuser-Busch, two of the worst offenders of the letter/trans
insanity, took serious nosedives from which neither has recovered. American Eagle said “screw you” to the woke crowd and is running a campaign that has seen the value of its company increase by several hundred million dollars.
- - - - -
Several major SCOTUS decisions went against the woke/lib/prog philosophy. Again, they were simply restoring some common sense to our country.
- - - - -
So that’s why I’m wondering: Am I being overly optimistic, and I’m due to fall flat on my face when reality sets in?
Or is the pendulum really starting to swing back to the side of common sense?

Psst, the subject of the Sunday Paper edition of IN THE MEME TYME, now, back to fingering out what to do for Mondays Edition . . .
Correct me if you see this differently (and I know many don't listen to NPR at all) but does it seem to you like, now that they know they are on life support (as they should have been from the beginning) they can say things even MORE egregious than the lefty-lying stories they had previously?
This morning (yeah I hate listening, but you gotta keep up with the opposition)....they brought on a previous CIA operative or officer, can't remember exactly) to actively counter the information that is coming to light over the Russia Hoax. Previously they would say "unsubstantiated claims," or "without evidence," but now they have people saying "No, the MAGA people are outright lying and here's how I know (even though they don't, actually, know. or they themselves are just plain lying) They bring on lefty "experts" who are only "expert" in advancing the Orange-Man-Bad narrative.
All pretense of "impartiality," as thin as it ever was, is gone completely.
And dumb conservatives will let them in. Only to find themselves charged or killed by those they let in.
If history is any indicator!
because of insane leftist screaming and lying media criticism.

Morons. Not a penny for their Chinese/Indian made garbage.https://allamerican.org/investigation/america...
Busch beer has been swill for more than a century.
Learn to brew your own. It's easy and you cut off funding for your BATF enemies in D.C.
Even if their merchandise is manufactured in China, India, or the moon - I really don't care as long as the information is available, per labeling law, on the clothing, whatever tariffs were paid, and the clothing is made according to proper standards. Then you can hate them, somebody else can love them, and everybody gets to choose.
PS it might be a lot easier for me because I never got over my experience at 6 years old, screaming and crying in public (which I NEVER did) because I had to wear a pair of horrible, scratchy jeans for a cowboy-themed dance recital. It's been 69 years and I have yet to put on another pair, and likely won't for whatever time I have left. Some nightmares never fade.
That is, obviously, in direct conflict with how the libs see themselves and the world. Probably 55 years ago, my late father understood this. He told me that when a conservative doesn't like a restaurant, he says that he won't eat there anymore. When a liberal doesn't like a restaurant, he says that nobody can eat there anymore. My dad nailed it.
"Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans is and always ways about the jeans. Her jeans. Her story. We'll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way. Great jeans look good on everyone."
This is being reported by, among others, MSN and Salon. It might be one of the few times I'd ever give credibility to either of those websites; we all know how much they'd be screaming their approval if AE was forced to take a step back.
