I wonder if, according communist dogma, the stateless commune gets any lights on the night satellite map of Earth once the deformed state withers away.

Yes. How can people there who actually can get the info not look at South Korea and think freedom is better? I'm amazed by the interviews in which people say they think all good comes from the their leader. It would sound more believable to my ear if they said, "He's done amazing things. Of course he has the normal human foibles, but they don't get in the way from him standing up against an entire world that's trying to force us to replace our culture with a global system of greed." That to me sounds like a true believer. This stuff about him being a demigod sounds like they're making fun of him. I'd like to see what people think when the country's free and people can speak openly about what was going no. I suspect many people really believe their leaders are like gods, which just blows my mind.

Interesting idea, but millions of starving repressed people confronted with a political collapse... historically speaking that usually ends up getting a bit messy.

Hmmm, I don't about this, but I believe that according to the communist dogma: according to Marx, once all classes have been eliminated and everyone's needs are met, the "State" is somehow (not fully explained) to magically "wither away".

Perhaps this is what we are seeing for the first time in communist history? Hey, anyone look for the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow?

This would not be surprising. He is young and if he lost the respect of military and intelligence leaders he would be pushed aside. Be interesting to see if they open up and accept some freedoms. I would like to hear the stories people would tell about living there.
