Objectivist Investor Conundrum
So, in looking for some way to bolster my portfolio returns I'm experiencing something similar to when I invested in MRNA. I don't agree with the latest corporation I've noticed. But, the American people are allowing and fostering what they do. So, the profits are high and stock price very strong. The latest is a corporation that uses AI to attack and kill people der leaders think should be killed, and a few other similar functions. Won't name them. But, it's probably the strongest stock I've seen in several years. Americans love it. The company is connected like Wesley Mouch. Why is the destruction of humanity usually the best stock investment? Haha....
Because evil assists evil so the criminals don't get exposed and punished.
Without a overpowering corrupt government, evil can't easily expand and survive.
That government gave a cartel the ability to create money from nothing for their own benefit.
Is it surprising that they use that free money to give other evil people a financial advantage over honest people?

Don't do any business with the enemy or you can become the enemy.
The easy decision. I've owned Cigarette Companies Stock. I've owned GOOG, etc. etc.
Big deal, it's the stock, and I am a tiny player.
What you MUST be careful of... SUPPORTING them publicly, or helping them accomplish their goals.
Would I participate in a BOND offering? No. That helps the company itself get where it wants to go.
Would I do it NOW... No. I owned GOOG before it was clearly evil. I've cancelled my NFLX, etc.
Why? I think karma actually matters. I wouldn't pay the legal defense for someone I knew was guilty, either.
If you are questioning the investment, to the degree that you bring it here. YOU KNOW something is wrong.
Final Question: Will the profits change your life enough that you will brag to your grandchildren how you profited from owning that stock?
On your deathbed. What will matter more to you. Who you were, or your net worth?
Great investments that will likely doom us in the end.
Look at the bright side, you'll likely be dead by the time the SHTF.
A good many investors have had that situation, including me, I recall a few of years ago, none recently.
Ah.. but there is banking, hard to avoid banks if you have a portfolio. I'd like to find a stable bank that will lend to a coal project if the sums are right All the banks who go on record make a big noise about not supporting coal.
