Confusing. What must be happening is that there are two or more persons with similar names that translate into English as the same. Guessing, the one in a coma is too young to be the one Dob refers to.

With the help of military intelligence, Trump has been waging a war against an embedded insurgency that was controlled by foreign puppet masters.
