If you live in the COLD where you die without food, and can't go "catch some". Then you are rewarded for planning ahead, and TRIMMED from the gene pool for ailing to do so.

Meanwhile, if you live where food is everywhere, but so are people who will chase you down and kill you, along with animals that will.

Then you are rewarded for MOVING FIRST, thinking later. IQ is not required to find food. It's hanging from trees. It's all around you.

Why burn calories supporting an IQ that doesn't help. But keep the body TRIM, the eyes alert, etc. etc.

It's truly sad we cannot talk because some children think that a truth that sounds "harsh" should be banned. When the two are unrelated.

I suggested to a newly minted teacher that for each subject ALL STUDENTS should be sorted by their skill in that subject (not by age, and not randomly by grade).

And the classes should be from that LINE. The best kids in this class, the next batch in this class.

Yes, I read "The Bell Curve" shortly after it was published because I was curious. The authors were set ablaze for publishing what was actually discovered in the longitudinal study on IQ. That type of honest work wouldn't see the light of day in today's woke world.

Nice article. The truth doesn't care about your feelings. AI is only as good as those who program it. As I read this article, the scene from "Galaxy Quest" where the truth of the series was revealed to the alien to be a fantasy, a lie, and not an historical record came to mind. Reality always catches up.
