SOOOOOOOO, Glad everyone liked this edition.
    It was a risk with only a couple of funny ones but hoped that the nostalgic ones would be appreciated;
and those that weren't funny nor nostalgic appreciated for the truth told by the meme.

True. With that said this geezer is reminded of a joke story that was told while holding a pack of Camels. You ask, if a sand storm comes up would you hide in the oasis, hide by the pyramid, or hide under the camel? The answer was turn the pack over and say check into the hotel as there is an Egyptian palace printed on the back, LOL. Holy smokes, I can't believe I remembered that!

It would be a good idea to send Bernie and AOC the bread shelf one, but then they wouldn’t see it because they are too busy flying around on their private jet.
    Another great bunch! Thanks!

Democracy has always been a very flawed form of government, favoring central controllers. It has always failed.
That's why the original government of the States united was not democracy, but a republican form.

I'd almost agree if it could be limited to those spending 6+ hours a day on their phones using social media and playing games.
One downside might be a boon for shrinks dealing with suicidal teenage girls.

"We weren't freaking idiots."?? Lemmesee, I made my own gunpowder (it failed) and made some nitrogen tri-iodide. The NI3 worked spectacularly, but I only made small amounts. My college roommate made a large lump of it when he was in HS, caused a lot of trouble. He also made nitroglycerin, with which he blew a hole in his concrete cellar floor. Can you tell that I like the book "Ignition!" by John Drury Clark?

As someone who grew into adulthood without mobile devices of any kind, watching people today glued to their stupid little screens like their very lives depended on it makes me pray for a nice big CME.

Riddle me this Batman What is the real difference between DemonRats Then and Now?
They are being paid to riot.
    > George Soros SPIT
    > The Tides Foundation
    > ACT BLUE et. el.
are funding Domestic Terrorists like Burn Loot Murder, Panty-Fah and anyone else who will sell their souls to the Devil for a few piece of silver.

All those @$$w!pes protesting in front of Tesla dealerships... paid.

What part of Democracy do the Demon Rats not understand?

Don't get me started on the Bolsheviks in black robes overstepping Their Boundaries

Kinda Like Snacking, Soda, and Junk Food these days.
I wonder if the tobacco companies REALLY did buy the junk food companies in the 1970s and 1980s... You know, just before our WEIGHT Doubled as a country.

I noticed the same with my grand kids. Had to to + the references to Ben Hur and Bridge Over the River Kwai movies.

I quit the cigarettes when I was 32 but dumped the cigars at 61 (73 now) and am much better off. I was always very active and was roller blading in Florida on vacation and felt a bit short of breath. I figured it was the cigars so when I got back to the house I threw them all out and never went back. Wife says I was a bit miserable for a couple of weeks, but she's glad I got rid of them, too.

Texting in the '50s for the row of desks next to the wall consisted of a string line from the front desk to the back desk. The note was passed on a small piece of paper clipped to the string line which was then pulled from one end to the other.

It was hard to avoid smoking in the '50s and '60s when it was being promoted heavily by doctors and Hollywood. I managed to kick it in the early '70s after I left the Navy. It was hard to avoid in the Navy because we could get sea store cigarettes which avoided all the taxes for $1 per carton.
