Excerpt:
"Let's be honest, Elon Musk has been made a fool of by the GOP. After assembling the DOGE team and spending months finding egregious levels of waste, fraud and abuse within the US government - i.e. what Trump supporters voted for - House and Senate Republicans gave Musk a little pat on the head, then proceeded to roll out President Trump's 'Big Beautiful Bill' - that codified exactly zero of DOGE's findings, raises the debt ceiling by $5 trillion, and relies on ambitious economic projections to achieve what the White House insists is $1.4 trillion in savings (while the Congressional Budget Office projects deficits of $1.7 - $2.3 trillion over the next decade).

Needless to say, Musk is livid. "

I figure if Trump wanted to get spending under control he could at least threaten to veto any bill that spends more than the previous year. He's not doing that. The DOGE creation showed the track to get on and con-gress just keeps on spending - apparently with Trumps approval no less. IMHO, Trump scored a lot of wins, but this one is a loser. Musk and Paul are on the right side of this one.

    Trump is not God
he is trying to hold back the ocean

and we know that always works

i do believe that the failure of the Untied States cannot be stopped
    it can be delayed

but there are too many parasites (at all levels), too many traitors, too many stupid people (created by schools on purpose)

i simply do not understand how politicians that are doing this on purpose believe that they and their families will be immune from the end results of their actions

Shakes head. I didn't vote for this. I like a lot of items being checked off by Trump, but IMHO he has his head up his ass on this one. This was the chance of his presidency to make a real difference and he blew it.

due to rules, that i consider to be 100% unconstitutional and designed to promote the inability to make changes that matter, there are only certain things that can be addressed in a "reconciliation bill"
