The more I travel in the US…
…the more I love living in northern NV. At this time I’m in Phoenix for business. Downtown PHX has gone the way of your typical big city. Vast regions of shuttered businesses, disabled, insane, and drug-addled vagrants collapsed on the various pieces of urban landscaping. I tried to walk a mile from the hotel to the convention center this morning and really missed having my .40 on my hip. Human scat on the sidewalks, no longer just a San Francisco thing I guess. We see little flare ups like this in Reno, but everyone is still fighting it. Eventually we’ll probably fall too. Until then, I can’t wait to get back. I’m seeing the collapse everywhere I go: Hawaii, PHX, Seattle, Sacramento…poop, bums, crime, and mentally ill people hootin’ and hollering. Like an f’ing zombie movie…
Idaho is stronger, they still have not legalized drugs, this was the start of the decline in California. Idaho has a homelessness problem but it pails in comparison to California. We have government officials that are making the stupid decisions, especially the mayor of Boise. You can still walk around Idaho with your .40 concealed or in a holster without having to ask “may I” to the government.
My point is Hanlon's razor is bullshit - "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."
We need a new philosophical razor, The jackass razor – “Never attribute to malice a single act of stupidity but when a overwhelming chain of stupid acts effect a common outcome, assume its malice.” - Jack1776
I think something is going on when you look at the everything going on in California, too much, too quick and the stupidity is too great.
