Who Really Decides What “America First” Means?

Excerpt:
"Trump recently told The Atlantic that “considering that I’m the one that developed ‘America First,’ and considering that the term wasn’t used until I came along, I think I’m the one that decides that. For those people who say they want peace—you can’t have peace if Iran has a nuclear weapon. So for all of those wonderful people who don’t want to do anything about Iran having a nuclear weapon—that’s not peace.” This was in response to vehement opposition within MAGA over a possible hot war with Iran.

His remarks preceded Tucker Carlson telling Steve Bannon, both of whom have enormous influence over MAGA, that such a war would “see the end of the American Empire” and Trump’s presidency. That prompted Trump to respond as follows on social media: “Somebody please explain to kooky Tucker Carlson that, ‘IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON!’” Quite clearly, MAGA is now divided over who exactly decides what “America First” means: Trump or top influencers who channel his base’s interests."

Deep State neocons destroyed the rails just after the USSR was dissolved.
There has been no rational argument for any military action since then (just false flag ops.)
The only target deserving of punishment for attack on Americans is D.C.

Stay out of the Middle East and back Israel.
    Think deeply before taking action.
    That's what "America first" means.

Defending Israel doesn't mean bombing Iran.

The NeoCons are grabbing power again.
Unfortunately, this latest involvement will carry a heafty price tag for the US.

    "America" has a cogent definition
    "First" has a cogent definition.
"America First' can mean quite a variety of things...

Now try it with "Affirmative Action" or many other catch-phrases emanating like stench from the Media Swamp, harming our ability to communicate and understand one another.

Same here, Dobrien. When Trump came along and declared "America first" it seemed like a whole new concept in our time. Even the phrase MAGA with the last A meaning "Again" implies something got lost and needs to be found. I'm reminded of the scene in "Gladiator" where Marcus Aurelius laments what Rome was becoming and wished to restore the Republic it once was.

Listen to the Man that first had the Vision, but watch carefully, respectfully, that it doesn't go off the rails.

I think that's whats happening, but we also have to watch that those watching don't go off the rails either!

    NOTHINGS EASY . . .

Since my entire life America first was void from any politicians mouth I give Trump the nod.

America First does NOT mean we ignore the world
it does not mean we go it alone
it MEANS America and its allies come first

and note, not all those who claim to be allies ARE ALLIES
