Well said, LibertyPen. I adhere to cash transactions whenever possible, but I have to admit most of my wealth is in digital form already. IRAs and bank accounts are all cyber-stuff until I go to the bank and get cash. The house I live in was paid off years ago, but it still belongs to the government allowing me to use it as long as I pay the "royal rent", nowadays called property and school tax. Cash is the last thing left for convenient bartering. One big electro-magnetic pulse and all the cyber stuff goes away.

I paid for a service that accepted silver today.
I bought at around $23 spot a couple years ago.
$60 in quarters left my hand today at $38.52 spot.
A good deal to get the receiver started in metals and maybe other commodities in the future.
    It's all education.

We need to (must) pressure all the states to allow direct purchase and redemption of gold/silver.

I think there are five or six states already on board.
My state, New Hampshire, has voted it down two years in-a-row, but it's up again this year.

Yeah, I feel ya. I start as an education.
And boy do you get one. When I first bout Silver, the fee was about $3-5/oz. And I did not realize I would pay that fee in both directions.
      Imagine paying $15/oz + $5/oz = $20/oz.

And when it its $30/oz you get hit with a $7 or $10oz fee, and find out a doubling of price paid the dealer and not you.

So, I refuse to sell. And the fees keep going up. Also, in many cases, you cannot buy near spot and certain cannot sell there (because they just change the fees).

On the other hand. It's a real asset. SO I have no problem holding it.

Also, now I understand why my buddy sold me his at market price years ago ($36/oz, he felt it was going to drop, I Figured I would save the premium, he would save the discount).

I am finally green on that transaction, but NOT BY ENOUGH to sell it, though... LOL.

Again, nor do I want to. Leaving it to my family.

I only deal with 7 or 9% buyers premium. No seller premium. I only buy minimum of $300 face or 400oz at a time. I get the 7% rate on purchase.
Wis ended sales tax of 7.5% about 2 years ago.

A couple years ago I handled 1/4 mill pickup and delivery for a friend as I was in an area where sales tax was not collected. That may have made an interesting traffic stop.

Digital transactions are how you get tracked.
If you don't want the Deep Swamp, Big Brother, NWO, Suck-A-Bucks following your every purchase, use cash at every opportunity.

Watch any old movie going back 50 years, they tracked the subject by their credit card purchases.

My buddy is working with police on the LPRs (License Plate Readers). In fact, he is giving me a couple to test with.

I want our HOA to install them on all ingress/egress out of our neighborhood.
We get these "groups" of people who are dropped off on one side and walk through stealing whatever they can out of cars. And meeting up with the car on the other end, and driving away.
In the cover of night. I have 4 cameras. I caught poor quality images.

We are now adding a WiFi auto-detect, and looking into a Cellular detector (fake connection to a tower). So every phone that passes by can be tracked, linked to a photo if walking, a LPN if driving, and sent up to a server.

My goal is to identify and coordinate these break-ins with enough details that we can finally nail these groups.

personally, my cars are parked in the garage. Always will be. I Told the wife. If the cars stop fitting in the garage. We get rid of a car, and it starts with hers, and I won't let her use mine!

Amazing how empty/clean the garage is after 30 years!!!

When were growing up in the 1980s, we called $20 bills "Yuppie Food Stamps"

Now it feels like a $100 bill is a food stamp.

every time I go shopping for food it's like $200

    CRAZY.

While I am all in on Crypto. I mean the kind that is NOT CONTROLLED like CBDCs. or the kind that cannot be restricted, which I fear the USDC and USDT will be. So they will function LIKE a CBDC in the end.

    I am not for that.

I am for a form of cash, that we can transact in WITHOUT the government or bank involvement.

It has risks, to be sure.

But banks create money out of thin air.
That's not right, considering how hard we have to work to earn money!

Bitcoin and other crypto are "Cryptonite" to the present banking system.
Are you familiar with the term Allodial? These are allodial monies; you/we own them.
I've secured enough physical commodities, now I'm moving toward crypto currency. Maybe a little late in the "game", but worthwhile pursuing, and as an investor in a server farm with a guy I know from years ago.

Exactly. 99% of the people here cannot see it.
I want my "Wealth" to be held in a form that cannot be taken from me, and cannot be devalued by criminal bankers.

Allodial Title... Just looked it up.
        Yeah, this is important.
Dr. Martenson recently had a guy on from Texas. They are suing because they found the counties are BANKRUPT, and adjust the valuations of the homes to raise the tax revenue to cover the payments. They literally have caught them doing this, and then telling the adjusters how much things need to go up to support the #s they need.

We should NEVER pay tax on unearned asset inflation. (If I should pay an annual property tax, it must be charged against ONLY the purchase price). THIS fixes homestead exemptions, etc. etc.

Glad you got it. You are still early.
Just figure out where to store you keys.
AND WHERE NOT TO! LOL (Found a lady whose cleaning lady apparently found her backup printout, took a photo. And right after she was gone to the wind, this lady finds she has ZERO BTC)... Store things safely.

Can you provide me a link to Martenson? I need to look up case file and cross with WI law. I know I can file allodial on my land. My land is now unencumbered ..... no "consideration" owed. I must go through the records since Louisiana Purchase to show provenance. There are then Declarations, if made properly are not rebuttable. That which is not or cannot be rebutted in commerce stands as the truth or law. This is a maxim still observed, even by the corporate courts.

We're in the same book .... different pages ... kindasorta .....

Finally, in the context of property tax. Capital gains are not pre-taxable. Homestead Land is an investment. Ergo .... Also, School Boards initiate levies through bonds. There are supposedly people finding that these bonds have never been cured. A lot to unravel right now, but the rate of awareness and actions is increasing daily.

I'm settling into home after 2-1/2 years of being on the road every other week.
I've already gained infamy with the school board by challenging them under Fed and State law felonious activity. Now I have the time to get into their knickers on this bonding issue. I haven't had so much fun since mom cut holes in my pockets.

Nice. (and lol with the pockets).
You will be a great addition to comprehend the criminality and fraud these counties have perpetrated. DeSantis found that a lot of these counties/cities have been DONATING their money to LIBERAL causes.
FWIW, this is why he is threatening the Property Tax. It goes to the county, not to the state!

It's like people might be waking up!

So, let's step back just a little bit. The vast majority of the elected populous is not qualified to make any real financial decisions. They are taught, as they conscientiously take office, this is the way we've done it .... ad infinitum. They are comfortable within their respective "congregation". Remember Shakespeare; The Ghost of Christmas Present:

"They are Man's," said the Spirit, looking down upon them. "And they cling to me, appealing from their fathers. This boy is Ignorance. This girl is Want. Beware them both, and all of their degree, but most of all beware this boy, for on his brow I see that written which is Doom, unless the writing be erased. Deny it!" cried the Spirit, stretching out its hand towards the city. "Slander those who tell it ye! Admit it for your factious purposes, and make it worse! And bide the end!"

And so, is the ignorance malignant or malicious? There is malice within a few. The majority need to see the error of their belief and have an equitable opportunity to correct the behavior. But I pull no punches when I illustrate what penalties may be imposed. My County Board and School Board are not bonded. Their estates are at risk for malfeasance.
                  Self interest governs everything.

Not to be picky, but it was Dickens, not Shakespeare, who wrote "A Christmas Carol" with the three ghosts. My favorite movie of it was the George C. Scott rendition with his famous voice growling out, "Mr. Cratchet!"
