Seemed to be the best way to describe this group which also defies order . . . Many memes are not funny on their own but are hilarious in the context of others. That is why I try my best to establish context.

I remember those days so well. My 6 brothers, two sisters and I knew how to shoot and had firearms safety drilled into our heads well before the age of seven. Nearly everyone in the family enjoys shooting, and a number are proficient with archery, knife/ax throwing and various other grear sports. I just sent my son-in-law a well balanced throwing ax for Christmas. I pity anyone who grew up wirh no one to teach them how to enjoy life by learning something new, whether a skill or knowledge or how to think critically. The list goes on. I love learning new things and the Gulch is one place I can be sure to do just that.

Ah the Friday memes lighten my soul. Thanks, Carl, for a great run this week. Each built on the other and by the time Ms. Leavitt finished her first press meet, the mainstream mudballs were a coyote/roadrunner disaster! Hallalujia!

For sure, Rex_Little, like London Bridge, Ring Around The Rosie, and the Pied Piper Of Hamlin. At the risk of being risque here's a take on Jack And Jill I heard a very long time ago:

Jack and Jill went up the hill.
    Each one had a quarter,
Jill came down with fifty cents.
Think they went up for water?

Edit add: I like that it ends in a question in keeping with OUC's themes of the memes for today.

Enjoy, Suzanne43. After working out in the snow I'll be having a 3-way conversation with Jack and Ginger, LOL.

Had to +1 the whole thing, dino. Maybe we're on our way into the next ice age so enjoy the heat while we can. The climate - it's a-changin' just like it always did, LOL!

    Uh.. hell yeah!

Even later when I was an assistant scout master I would go with the boys, including my son, to a summer scout camp up in the mountains that included activities like .22 shooting and double axe throwing! All gone now and the little darlings of today have no idea of what they are missing!

Don't know what happened there - left a good bit off of what was in the response.....
Started on .22's but had a .30-.30 by the time I was 12 - and of course shotguns. But along with that came learning safety -

I’ve finished my housework and ran some errands, so it’s about time to pour a glass of wine and talk to it.
Another great bunch…I do look forward to Friday Funnies!

    OK, and I wasn't considering .22-cals.
BTW, my transplanted into Alabama now deceased Yankee parents would not even let me have a BB gun.
Presently I own 6 assorted firearms. Marines taught me how to shoot as well as the Alabama Department Of Corrections.
I can reach a choice of a 12-guage shotgun loaded with double-aught buck and a 357 Magnum from my bed.
Either will definitely make my ears whine if forced to shoot cornered in my bedroom.
Also BTW, guess what's the last long gun I bought so far. Guess that makes 7 guns.
Hey, parents, are you looking down? Finally got me that air gun. Isn't that a Daisy?

Three Blind Mice is far from the only nursery rhyme that's pretty grim. Consider the words of Rock a Bye Baby, or Jack and Jill.

Favorite this time around is the press conference with Karoline. Watched that one and laughed most of the way through it. She smoked 'em bad. Good.
