- 1Posted by khalling 12 years, 5 months agogood post. where I disagree with Beck and Kurzwiel, is the inevitability our technology will reach Singularity. History lesson: we lost the ability to make cement for over 1000 years. Augustine being primary and key there. We have religious greenies whose faith is so strong and far-reaching, we deny the making of modified foods to feed starving and disease ridden nations. We weaken property rights daily, and most believe technology should just be shared for free. IF you can't protect the labor of your mind, the engines of technological growth will stop.| Permalink
