I’ve heard Thanksgiving referred to as “The Producer's Holiday”. I can’t remember if it was in AR’s writing or here in the Gulch but at any rate it’s correct. Happy Thanksgiving to US! I hope everyone has the best day they can imagine. Then we start “producing” again-and more.

Me dino heard Rush Limbaugh tell that story before or shortly after the turn of the century.
That was never taught in school way back during the Sixties.
Up until I heard Rush on a radio I was unaware that the Pilgrims tried socialism before it was named as such. .

This reminds me of how I've described such dependents on taxpayer funded benefits as "hogs at a trough".
