Excerpt:
"The hits to the establishment keep on coming - as President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) for Attorney General of the United States.

"It is my Great Honor to announce that Congressman Matt Gaetz, of Florida, is hereby nominated to be The Attorney General of the United States," Trump said in a statement.

"Matt is a deeply gifted and tenacious attorney, trained at the William & Mary College of Law, who has distinguished himself in Congress through his focus on achieving desperately needed reform at the Department of Justice."

In response, Gaetz said on X; "It will be an honor to serve as President Trump's Attorney General!" "

As jbrenner recommended last week. ;^)
(I also noticed a few days ago that Musk announced they plan to act against the media and Pharma as I suggested here on Oct 30.)

DeSantis could place him in the Senate to replace Rubio . No senate approval necessary.

President-elect Donald Trump announced Thursday evening that his new pick for attorney general is Pam Bondi.

Bondi previously served as Florida’s attorney general.

The announcement came just hours after former Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., withdrew from consideration.

Some questions in Congressman Gaetz background. Maybe nothing more than progressives attempt to destroy him recently. Question is who would do a deep vetting of this now former congressman? FBI?

Me dino gets a lot of snail mail from Mike Johnson. I toss them all into the trash unopened.
Why? Shortly after he became speaker, he speaker spoke made a lot of noise about using the border wall as leverage against doing things the Democrats wanted, Then Little Mikey caved, caved and caved.
Marjorie Taylor Greene (an outspoken fighter I have a lot of respect for) openly wondered if Little Mikey was being blackmailed.

Mike Johnson isn't exactly someone to be doing favors for. He isn't a particularly good Speaker.

She might still be AG. I think the Gaetz pick is a favor to Mike Johnson by getting Gaetz out of the house. I really don't think he'll be confirmed by the senate and with his seat filled by special election he will be off the DC stage and out of the way.

Matt Gaetz would be more effective in Congress. Trump should have picked Pam Bondi for Attorney General. Same no nonsense approach, but no baggage.
