    I don't think that much of the world is dependent on the US fake economy.
    Unless there is a very widespread war, much of Asia and South America will
    survive and, with some resistance to local tyranny, prosper.
    Europe and US have been planning suicide.

    How far will we (humans) fall? I'm guessing beyond 1984, a massive reduction in the number of humans caused by starvation, rampart diseases, and lack of energy sources necessary to sustain life. Maybe Ayn Rand was correct - a collapse to per-civilization - Return Of The Primitive.

    No. I maen that if we as a country fall, everyone else will follow. What happens after that depends on how far we fall. The mess could be averted if there was a massive reduction in dc scum and a massive increase in congressional responsibility. At this point, it needs a whole lot of "if" to make it happen.

    Indeed. For years they have been inflating monthly unemployment and employment figures then "adjusting" them in the months after original reports to make the economy appear better. Media rarely if ever reports the adjustments that reveal the truth about the economy, just as they never bother to report the true inflation rates.

    I just about fell out of my chair the other day when I heard her say that on TV. Literally unbelievable.

    And a large percentage of the job growth that has existed in reality is government workers. That contributes zero to the economy.

    If swamp creatures like Raimondo either lie or actually do not know, FIRE THEM! Either way they are part of the crumbling mess called DC. Of course, to fire them we need a leader who has the balls to do it. Right now the ruling head is acutally a hydra.

    The problem is that most of the country doesn't know what any of these people are supposed to do, or what incompetence is. It is just assumed we have a pile of government people and that is the way it is.

    We need Milei in the US! Send half the government home, and realize we NEVER needed them.

    Separately, the Fed is about to reduce rates ... just in time to allow a little growth before the election. I predicted this a year ago!
