A great business now would be simple and inexpensive drones for travel on land and also ones that fly. Replace a lot of soldiers. Use AI to allow some degree of autonomous behavior. Exactly! The EXIT gate from Gitmo to Cuba may be wide open, but I'm sure there will be an armed reception on the Cuban side and the Cuban government will likely find something for you to do.

The only caveat I can see here is there are certainly a number of illegals who mean harm to the US and cycling them through Cuba for additional training may make things worse.

Cuba is probably smart enough not to allow such an invasion except by those who can provide expertise needed in Cuba.
(This is true in almost every country in the world. Only the tyrants in D.C. give free reign and free support to invaders with no talent and ill will toward America.)

They can fill out the conscript papers on the way to Gitmo, the first leg of deportation. If called for service, training can be obtained on Gitmo and upon graduation service will be anywhere in the world except within the USA. Completion of service allows LEGAL entry to the US and sets the path to citizenship. The whole thing should work similar to the French Foreign Legion. The alternatives are to be accepted for a legitimate asylum reason or be deported to where they came from and no chance of ever entering the USA in the future (they can always walk through a gate to Cuba as well).

I suggest we make all illegal immigrants (of draft age (male and female) should be required to register for the draft or be deported. I don't believe in getting something for nothing. They are getting free health care, food, money, housing. Why not?
