Why the Assassination Denials?

I have to ask...Why are people saying things like "it wasn't a bullet that hit Trump's ear, but a piece of the teleprompter". And, "He bent down and bit a packet of fake blood to fake his injury." And, "It was staged." And, "There was a loud noise and Trump fell down before the Secret Service escorted him off the stage." Combine this with the very common remark from so many people openly wishing that Trump had been killed....AND THESE ARE THE SAME PEOPLE! I have to ask my Gulchers....What is going on in these people's heads with these denials? I just can't wrap my head around it. Is it driven by a fear of igniting Trump's base? When he stood up and yelled "Fight!" three times that was enough for me. I said, "He just won." The intellectual decline of America is unprecedented in human history, it seems.

Even worse...a victim who shrugged off victimhood and succeeded. That is the WORST! Demonstrates that we don't need government to save us.

Well, this can get into a pretty deep Rabbit Hole.

Scientists put it to a test. Using Simulations.
It turns out, we are OPTIMIZED to NOT see reality.
We are geared towards pleasure (eating, sex) disproportionately.
    Not towards seeing "truth".

While doing simulations. ONLY when the "people" get rewards for eating and procreation,
do we get societies that survive.

Otherwise, the "people" literally starve to death. Or, they hoard food, and don't recreate.

It was a shocking discovery. The more the "people" saw reality, the quicker it destroyed them. (in the simulations that means, the less likely they were to secure resources and recreate).

A fish may never know what water is. But it still functions.
For humans, there are very similar things going on.

People learn to protect themselves with Layers of Abstraction.
In Fast-Brain/Slow-Brain concepts. These are Heuristics or shortcuts...
If you are ALONE, UNARMED, and 6 strange looking beings come your way.
You quickly need to know to run, hide, panic, etc. Those that don't, will either
suffer extinction or make new friends. The RISK:REWARD ration on those two
is so heavily skewed that 99.9% of the time. New Strange Creatures=Death.

So, I forgive people their ignorance. They simply do not know.
I also know that I likely believe things that can have alternate explanations...
In fact, I could be wrong about a lot of assumptions. (Is gravity a constant?)

Where I draw the line... Is when you are presented with the truth, and you
REFUSE to accept it. But it may not be the truth, but it is CLEARLY closer to
being accurate. (this is the "Trump is a Racist" problem. When you present
them with information that proves otherwise. They take it is a ONE-TIME thing,
or fabricated, etc. etc.) At that point, I am done with them. Their world view is
    broken.

The telltale sign for me is simple. Are they following facts or feelings?
(I believe Joe Biden misused his position of power and influence to enrich himself,
and used Hunter and his brother to do this... And I saw him ADMIT to parts of this.
That's a FACT based belief. "Trump is Evil" is a FEELING based belief.)
I have no place for the latter.

It was past 11PM when I was all like "Hey, I got something else to do!" Took me about 10 minutes to find it.
Being retired, I'm usually not that busy. Going to really take it easy today.

When you're the kind of tired I was, there would be no way to enjoy a good book. Woke up refreshed by the way.
I was on my porch cutting up a very large cardboard box to fit in my my garbage when that storm hit with a hard blow of wind that drove me inside with the straight-lined spew of a heavy downpour.
No way I would open a window that did indeed face that storm.

Yes, that's it! I thought I posted a link to that, but apparently either I didn't or it didn't "take."

Tutor-Turtle is spot-on. It's either incompetence or collusion. My guess is someone gave the order to lighten up security until (unspecified) someone else could get through. Then just wait a while for a loonie to show up. A lot of people wanted Trump dead, but a lot of them had to wait until the punk kid tried. Then they could 'neutralize' him - and say that they "did their job".

If you go completely to sleep, you're wasting a perfectly good thunderstorm. I find it better to open the windows a bit for the stereo affect, and read a good book.

I am amazed how the shooter was murdered rather than wounding him so we could question him about who, what, where, why, and such. n

Don't I recall in earlier years the campaigning candidates were often behind a bulletproof barrier?

Oh heck no, don't worry about that. It's been two years and I am accustomed to the idea that she won't ever be in my life again.

You did nothing wrong. Like I said, I didn't mind you asking at all.

    I counted.
I Watched the sequence twenty times.
    Thirteen shots.
    Not nine. Thirteen.
    I Am Positive.
    Four shots are unaccounted for.
Some of the shots came in such rapid succession, they could have not possibly come from one firearm.
In the counter-snipers own words "I took Crooks out with one round"
Eight shells were found on the roof.
Eight from Crooks, one from our guy, four unaccounted.
    The math doesn't lie.
There was (at least) one other shooter.
The efFing Bungling Idiots are doing a real bang-up job on this one.

I saw that in the Olson film.
After the first shots missed, the driver slowed so the shooter (from the bridge) could get the killing shot in.
The motor cycle cop following could barley avoid running into the back of the limo.
Anyone with any amount of shooting experience knows how the physics works.
The Zepruder film was totally hacked.
Why did it take four/five years for the film to come out?
With the advent of smart phones, this all changes.
You remember the Las Vegas shooting?
The FBI asked for everyones phones, then gave then back totally wiped... never give up your phone after an incident. Any incident.
Offer to forward a copy. Period.
You might have noticed, nobody let the agencies take their phones after President Trump's assassination attempt.
We learn our lessons, sometimes the hard way.

"Not burdened by the past"? as CamelToe would suggest. .
Remembering your past is how you don't make the same mistakes, over and over.
    Is our Constitution a Burden?
Is our Holy Bible a Burden?
Are our fallen solders a burden?
What burden could she possibly be talking about?
They don't come much more stupid than that woman.

You have two doors to pick from, Monty.
    Door number one: Incompetence.
    Door number two: Collusion.
There is no door number three.
Never attribute to incompetence, what can be more easily explained by Collusion.
The parallels to the JFK assassination are inescapable.
Don't kid yourselves people, they will try again, and again, and again.

Indeed it is smart of them. Unfortunately, my daughter is 53 and should have better sense. The worst of it is: SHE's not the transgender person! It's some guy she's "dating" who I haven't ever met, but I made some passing remark about men being men and somehow that applied to him. And I refused to take it back.

IOW, she was mad because I am conservative and she's all of a sudden discovered being a lefty.

Thank you, though, for your considerate words!

Thanks for sharing. I feel for you. The marxists love getting to the kids. My daughter, at 14, parrots lefty talking points before I ever hear them. Smart of the marxists...

Actually, when it is a child you have birthed from your own body, as in my case, yes, you lose a lot of sleep. But I don't mind you asking. It's really hard to come to grips with this, but one thing I've learned is that this is basically a growing phenomenon across the US. There are THOUSANDS of parents like me who have lost contact with one or more of their children, of course not all on account of transgenderism. There are many reasons.

And at the risk of sticking my nose where it doesn't belong, I'd be willing to bet you haven't lost any sleep over that.

The women's boxing association should recruit Mike Tyson to claim he feels like a woman. They could bring him in to substitute whenever a fake woman gets in the ring for a match.

Gas lighting. That's why, I guess. One must completely disrespect somebody to gas light them. And, that explains it all, I guess. "He wasn't shot. The teleprompter blew up and he used fake blood." And...sadly...half of America is stupid enough to play a role in such a lie....all-in....

The Left will say and do anything in the hope of getting others to believe it and support their "cause."

Here is a quote that is often attributed to Joseph Goebbels, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

This and another from Adolf Hitler, "Never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it."

Between these two people it seems that the Left have found who they want to model themselves after and perfectly sum up what the Left has been doing for years.
