Excerpt:
""Mike Johnson has completely changed his character in a matter of about five months after he has become speaker of the House," Greene told Tucker Carlson in a recent episode of Tucker Carlson Uncensored.

Carlson pointed to Johnson's meeting with Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelensky - after which Johnson said that the second congressional recess ends, "his number one priority at a moment when the U.S. is being invaded" is to " send that $60 billion to Ukraine, possibly as a loan."

According to Carlson, Johnson won't come on his show to explain, while Zelensky also refused to discuss his position.
...
When Carlson asked her to expound, Greene said that she has "no idea" if that's the case, but asks: "What radically changes a man. I mean, if we break down the the second part of basically an omnibus, let's let's break that down."

Greene cited Johnson's funding of "full term abortion clinics" despite being pro-life, doing "nothing for the southern border" - particularly on the heels of Laken Riley's murder at the hands of an illegal, which followed "a video that was running on loop on social media, where illegal aliens had rushed our border, ran over Texas National Guard."

"He did nothing to secure the border. It's the number one issue in the world. He completely changed who he was. Funded the FBI, gave them a brand new building, fully funded the Department of Justice that is persecuting everyone on the right and actually targeting our presidential candidate, for for election this year. Literally trying to put him in jail the rest of his life. We don't know who Mike Johnson is anymore. So there's no, I can't comprehend it," Greene continued."
---------------------------------------------------
D.C. is utterly corrupt and filled with traitors.
Let MTG and Rand Paul get away, then NIFO.

    She’s right.

I think a hell of a lot of them are blackmailed. That’s why having principles and standing by them is almost nonexistent. I remember Ryan’s backpedaling on Objectivism, just one minor example…

If you mean blackmailed into doing what the power people want, OR they don't get enough money to be re elected

Okay, me dino has admitted to being a Christian on this board. Now 77 I recall being a newspaper reporter during my thirties when I noticed myself developing a trust issue with people who carry on a bit much about being Christian.
It's in scripture Jesus noticing certain self-righteous full of themselves Jews being hypocrites. (Christianity did not exist yet).
I was hopeful when I first heard Johnson proclaiming to be a Christian who'd act like one as Speaker of the House. I was disappointed yet not at all surprised when he showed us all to be just another damn RINO.
I've been on the GOP phoning, email and snailmail sucker donation list despite my ceasing to donate due to RINO behavior during Obama's first term.
Since Johnson became speaker, he has sent me at least two or three donation requests a week!
That's a heck of a lotta hungry for money mail. Imean good grief!
Patriot Marjorie Taylor Greene has only sent me two such requests. PERIOD!
Me dino sent her some money for the first and I still have the second because I received it just this week. Yep, the second one just this week. Do believe I'll write her a check this weekend.
Johnson? I have sent him zero. Even before he proved to be a RINO. A little birdie told me to wait and see. The bulk of those requests land in the trash unopened.

I have decided NOT to fund any political campaigns at all this election cycle. First of all, my measly denotion wont make a hill of beans difference, and secondly I don't quite get the idea of how more money will win an election. I think political influence should be cut WAY back in our economy and country such that laws cant be passed that TAKE from one and GIVE to another.

Long time ago I registered to vote where I now live in Alabama, having voted in two other Bama towns prior. Nothing was said about what party.
I go to a primary and I'm asked which party do I want before I'm handed the ballot either Republican or Democrat.
After RINO behavior during Obama's first term I asked if there's an independent ballot during the next primary and I was told nope.

from a short term job to a lifetime career....

Once upon a time, there was a company.
One fine day, the management gathered the top employees together and decided what they wanted as compensation for their efforts.
Without any outside influences allowed, after a few months they determined their pay scale, benefits, retirement, healthcare, vacations, etc.
After presenting their plans to the top employees to ensure they all felt comfortable they informed the Employers how their company was going to be ran in the future.
Those actively involved in the creation of the PAY, BENEFITS and RETIREMENT were the top levels of the EXECUTIVE BRANCH, LEGISLATIVE BRANCH AND THE JUDICIAL BRANCHES with WE, THE PEOPLE EXCLUDED from any negotiations.

For a brief moment I thought things would take a turn for the better.

There's this Who song ringing in my thoughts, "...Here comes the new boss! Same as the old boss!"

Fooled again, I guess. However, this can't keep going.

I fully understand his altered positions.

Since biden has been in office, the fbi has made numerous early morning visits to the homes of 'people of interest'...

Some people lived through it, others managed to get murdered...

    excuse me, I incidentally misspoke.

Sometimes some people get shot in the fracas...

Or maybe someone in the Deep State explained how things worked out for the Kennedy brothers, MLK, Epstein, etc when they didn't toe the line or threaten those in power.

It must be hard for a politician (minion) who gets paid by the government to do anything that doesn't promote the size and power of that government. Seems to be just the nature of this system. Maybe it would not be such a bad thing to just cut the number of government workers in half (like vivek proposed). Most of them are doing things that the citizens don't want anyway.

I think he has been compromised, thus he is no longer trustworthy.

This is so typical of the (R)'s. - they screw up every wet dream, every time.

I'm so done with this crap. We need an Objectivist party, or start punishing severely the treacherous, weasels.

No. My grandfather made it a habit to always vote against the incumbent in every election. His reasoning was that the new guy MIGHT be a crook, but you know for sure the guy in office is!

Do you have an older car, VetteGuy?
I'm considering which 'collectible' car insurance company to switch to and wonder if you have any experience with them.
          I'm looking at:
          American Collectors (same as Heacock)
Hagerty (Some negative reviews regarding claims)
Grundy (cheaper, but may require a locked garage and second car for daily driver)
Hagerty and American Collectors are about half the price of my current policy for my '99 Mazda MX5.

I no longer have an older car. I had a 78 Camaro until 2019, but I used standard auto insurance instead of collector car insurance. I looked into it but discovered it only applied to cars not driven except for special occasions like car shows, etc. Mine was more of a 'daily driver', but insurance was pretty cheap at the time.

I think some also require a 'vintage' tag.

              Thanks, VetteGuy.
They are not as restrictive now than in the past.
I 'applied' to see their coverages.
Grundy requires that you have another car covered by another company - they don't cover comprehensive.
That's why they appear less expensive than Hagerty and AC.
AC requires a walled/covered storage area for the vehicle and a separate daily driver vehicle.
Hagerty will cover a car stored in a driveway and only limits (under 5000 annual) mileage apparently.
Both AC and Hagerty are at least 40% lower cost for full coverage compared to traditional insurance
carriers (who apparently don't care if you only drive 2000 miles a year and don't commute.)
All carriers are a ripoff because they have corrupted government bureaucrats to force
drivers to purchase insurance that should be voluntary.

MTG in the house, or is this just a show to get re-elected?
        Rand Paul in the senate?
Humans are inherently 'selfish' and that's why an actual 'free market' works, and governments never do, and never will.

I'm not buying that Johnson was co-opted so quickly. Something else is afoot. here.

MTG is certainly not sharp enough to see anything that isn't announced in the credits. I'm losing patience with her. We need to get Trump elected. More impeachment BS is NOT going to help.

As always, do not care a bit about forcing over-zealous christian religion on people by banning abortion. I care a LOT more about my dog than a zygote or a burglar in my house.

Scary thought but that has been my perspective these last years of this sh*tshow we've been living. That extends to the many judges that turned down evidence of the 2020 election debacle and the insanity of the fabricated indictments against Trump. Johnson is a definite disappointment for whatever reasons he has caved. But as Dan Bongino has basically yelled since news of MTG's motion doesn't she and others realize as Dan revealed there are several Republican Congressmen who have threatened to resign as the useless Buck and a guy in Wisconsin or one of the Northern states have done totally screwing the Repubs majority if Johnson is outed. She needs to be freaking careful what she wishes for. We are hanging on by a thread and need to swallow hard and put up with Johnson who may very well have been coerced or threatened by something the scumbags have on him to get him to cave. No doubt whatsoever there's an epidemic of that going around the DC Swamp sludge. Likely 99% we never hear about. Precarious times we face. No guaranteed outcomes either. Only prayer for the equivalent of The Lone Ranger coming over the hill on Silver with "silver bullets" blazing or John Wayne coming over the hill with a machine gun in each hand to the rescue. It ain't looking promising. My take on this septic tank anyway.

Fabricated indictments because they don't have anything on him. As far as I can tell, the first thing the swamp tried was, "Okay, let's find all his crimes and moral failures and use them to stop him. What? We don't have nuthin'? Gotta try harder. He must have colluded with Russia because of all those Slavic women he's married or whatever. And we know how to collude with Slavic people because of Joe, Hunter and Hillary. We'll just hang it all on him. Orange buffoon, we can at least call him an orange buffoon."

The problem (as I see it) is that the Judicial System has lost focus on what its job is... and that is:

To refrain from being "politically motivated to punish" and instead be focussed on contract issues and on settling disputes between litigants.

When the judicial system can become the litigant, then it's likely that they are the criminal element in the conflict.

"We are hanging on by a thread and need to swallow hard and put up with Johnson"
What we need is to grow a pair.
Continuing to compromise our principles is no answer.
            Don't just kick out Johnson.
Prosecute all the unconstitutional gang of traitors in con-gress.
If Trump doesn't do so in 90 days (assuming he is elected) then
get out the tar, feathers, and pitchforks, aka AR's.
The politicians are corrupt and the people have the authority
to act to defend the constitution against domestic traitors.

Personally I dont care if people get abortions. I wouldn't do it if I was a woman, as it just seems like a bad solution to the problem of an unwanted pregnancy How about not having unprotected sex in the first place that causes the problem in the first place.

I continue to assert that there are a number of ways women get pregnant that is NOT her fault and NOT consensual. Nevertheless, killing the victim is hardly the appropriate response, nor is legislating for the 99% by giving in to the 1%

So I am against it but realize that each state should have the right to set these laws. Having a law that is in favor of abortion in my state isn’t going to make me have one, under any circumstance.

If we talk about Negative Connotations Politicians in general, we see a two part issue. Maybe the other part and the overarching issue is talking about things. Universal acceptance suggests the printed word carries more weight than spoken...
which unfortunately Tucker begs the an even bigger question... how relevant are you??
