Telling callers the dino does not donate does not work.
These days when I don't like what I see on my caller ID, I press the answering button, count to three and press "off."
Sometimes they get sneaky and use a lady's name and I'll think maybe it is a wrong number. I'll cuss out some guy who starts to talk instead.
My second thought the quote from Martin Niemöller:

Even though I think Tik Tok is about as insidious as it gets, I absolutely cannot support the outright banning of it. It's a slippery slope; once you cross that line, there is no going back.
Patriot Act Anybody?
BTW, there was NO POWER included in the patriot act, that the government could not accomplish without it... IF THERE WERE a clear and present danger. NONE.
The difference... When they are wrong... NOW they have cover. And the ability to disappear people.
Ironically, no similar move has been taken against Telegram, which is Russian owned and much more likely to capture American user information. The Chinese bargain hunter site, Temu is also not a target, so this move is inconsistent to say the least.
Trump is now an opponent to the Tik Tok ban, which could gain him new supporters among young voters more likely to be Tik Tok fans.
HOWEVER, the 16th Amendment and FOAA Surveillance, et al Are PERFECT examples of Congress having good intentions that completely go off the reservation, and support the totalitarianism they were intended to fight.
Now I have a new reason to deny giving donations to the GOP.
That I have refused to do ever since me dino was angered by RINO behavior during an Obamanation's first term.
