I've never reaally understood some peoples facination for Rush. He was a huckster who only told half truths, innuniosos and bald faced lies. He played his audience as suckers so his ratings brought in more money for him.

Right now, in regards to property, NY is socialist/fascist in that you can "own" it as long as you pay the "royal rent" and follow all the rules and regulations. Break the rules and you will be thrown off in a heartbeat, proving who really owns the property. I think all states are socialist/fascist in that regard nowadays. One of my ancestors, who fought in the Revolutionary War, was granted a parcel of land in NYS for his service with no strings or taxes attached. His generation was the first and the last of the free landowners in NYS.
