Government awards 20 billon dollars to Intel to manufacture chips in the US

I chose Government because this isn’t economics. This is our money, stollen through inflation and granted to a multi bullion dollar company, that is failing.

    What is happening is all this money printing in the US made US companies uncompetitive with foreign companies because the printed money gets spent inside the US, bidding up labor prices/etc. So, the dumb asses are trying to prevent intel from going bankrupt... by printing even more money! There is only so long this can go on. Eventually, everything in the US is going bankrupt.

      Agreed but its way worst then the picture you painted… The government just keeps spending the money from future generations because I think they know we are at the end of the road. No where else to kick that can. By spending this money on Intel, Ukraine, arms to terrorist and all the other items in the budget, they are sticking a hand into your bank account/safe and making withdraws without your consent.

    China's Xi was a victim of Mao's policies, and may be a hidden anti-communist. I've heard he's very smart.

    Russia historically saved the US during our Civil War, opposing the other European powers whose attitude could be summed up as, "Your American revolution is over. We'll let you split yourselves up and we'll take it all back." They could do it again.

    Some of the world's leaders must have read Atlas Shrugged, as part of their attempt to understand the US, just as many people read Sun Tzu, Plato and Machiavelli.

    Thanks for the link. This is horrendous. Our tax dollars and debt on future generations used to give humongous amounts to a company. Their entire profit for last year was this amount. What does this do to their competitors?
