On my visit, I was put in a private room. At 9:00 p.m. another patient was moved into my room and she had her entire family with her past midnight. She howled all night. I asked for a walker because of my screaming pain when I walked and they didn't have one. (this was all along with no meals for 3 servings), Trust me! My insurance is so good, I don't even pay a copay for anything. N.

I'm happy every time I see Methodist officials weeping because they are having to pay nurses a $15,000 hiring bonus and they are getting the worst nurses I have ever seen! NB

As a patient and in my professional opinion, I was hospitalized during 'Covid'. I am 86 and I fell and fractured my pelvis. Lousy hospital care, shortage of nurses on the floors, nurses who didn't speak our language. At one time I didn't get dinner, breakfast or lunch and I left the hospital AMA instructing my insurance company which happens to be with the Federal Government not to pay for the lousy hours I spent in this big old Methodist Hospital. My daughter in law was admitted while I was hospitalized and no one advised me she was on the same floor as I. They took out her cancerous kidney, then sent her home on Hospice saying 'She was too weak for chemo!' She died shortly after going home. If I'd had my choice, I would have sued Methodist. They also really miffed her PCP so badly, he resigned. The Hospital didn't notify him she'd been admitted and I wonder who the surgeon was. Her doctor would have been the one to make that call. He resigned and is happy at his ranch 50 miles from here. He called me and asked me why Methodist didn't call him. I assured him Methodist was advised that 'he' was her PCP. And he was but no longer is, on their staff. He was the best in the business. NB
