Excerpt:
"The University of Michigan continues to exponentially grow the number of staffers dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion, with at least 241 paid employees now focused on DEI and payroll costs exceeding $30 million annually, according to an analysis conducted for The College Fix.

The payroll costs are $23.24 million for salaries and $7.44 million for benefits, or $30.68 million, an amount that would cover in-state tuition and fees for 1,781 undergraduate students.

Thirteen DEI staff members earn more than $200,000 and 66 earn more than $100,000 when factoring in benefits."

Whew! I guess the camel got into that tent. Now multiply that by institutions, companies, and government agencies across the land and you'll have an annual expense that will surpass the costs of complying with the IRS.

Just think of how many hundreds of billions are wasted by honest people and companies hiring accountants (and sometimes lawyers) to comply with unconstitutional (privacy invading) mandates from the IRS.
Think of all the debt that could be retired (and freedom from banksters slavery attained) by those honest people if they didn't have that burden forced on them.
Think of the boost to the economy and the productive result if all those capable accountants had to find productive work instead.

      You escaped in time, JB.
That is true of many graduates (from many universities) your age and older.
It doesn't speak well for the younger people who have to carry on when
all if us retire, but OTOH there won't be many competitors of merit for your
students. I hope they are prepared to carry a heavy load, or to escape to
a Gulch when the collapse hits.

The UM football team looked pretty good Monday night.
I had a local restaurant all to myself watching that game.
They stayed open later so I could watch the game until
UM broke it open in the late 4th quarter.
