Excerpt:
"Special Counsel Jack Smith demanded information on Twitter users who liked or retweeted former President Donald Trump’s tweets leading up to the January 6 riot, according to a heavily redacted search warrant and other documents released Monday.

Smith’s comprehensive search warrant sought the 2024 Republican presidential primary front-runner’s search history, direct messages, and “content of all tweets created, drafted, favorited/liked, or retweeted” by his account from October 2020 to January 2021.

The special counsel also demanded a list of all devices used to log into Trump’s then-Twitter, now X account, as well as information on users who interacted with the then-president in the months leading up to Jan. 6, 2021, the court filings show.

Among the information Smith sought were lists of all Twitter users who “favorited or retweeted” Trump’s tweets, “as well as all tweets that include the username associated with the account” in “mentions” or “replies.”"

"Romney Wordsworth : You never learn, do you? History teaches you nothing.

Chancellor : On the contrary, history teaches us a great deal. We had predecessors with the right idea.

Romney Wordsworth : Yes, like Hitler.

    Chancellor : Hitler, of course.

    Romney Wordsworth : Also Stalin.

Chancellor : Stalin, too -- but their error was not one of excess. It was simply not going far enough. Too many undesirables were left around, and undesirables eventually form a core of resistance. Old people clutch at the past and won't accept the new. The sick, the maimed, the deformed... They fasten onto the healthy body and damage it, so we eliminate them. And people like yourself -- they can perform no useful function for the State, so we put an end to them."

Since this is a treasonous King Barry's third term, me dino recalls when that Obamanation referred to all who disagreed with the things he was doing aka We The People as "the enemy."
Me the dino heard him say that on TV and felt appalled.
Do believe that was during the first year of his first term. That was before we learned he had the IRS refuse tax exempt status to groups called Tea Party or using the word "Patriot" in their title.
Now with a weaponized DOJ and thanks to Trump exposing control freak sell-outs in what he called the Deep State way back when, nothing unAmerican or just plain stupid surprises or even shocks me anymore.
Not even insane statements such as men being able to get pregnant and guys when they feel like girls get to use the Ladies Room or compete to ruin women's sports.
Anyone recall South Korea having a huge stockpile of M1 semi-automatic rifles, now "obsolete" weapons of war they wanted to sell to the American public?
Obummer immediately shut that down. So many private citizens armed with the standard battle rifle that helped win World War II and the Korean War must have horrified that control freak traitor.

The incestuous nature of these requests was also revealed, because Twitter/X couldn't go to a public court to challenge the subpoena - where it would more likely than not failed - but had to challenge it in an administrative court, which are infamous for abridging due process and individual rights.

Even two years ago I didn't realize just how fast we would fold. I knew we were going, but everything The Trump did to rip off the bandaid seems to have made no dent in the deep state armor. Jackal Smith is just the tip of the iceberg. His job is to find out just how hard the powers can push before the feces hit the oscillator. He has a very easy job. The majority will take all the push he can give. Those of us who give a damn will never be allowed to push back in any force. It takes coordination, and unless we learn telepathy, we have no secure lines of communication. I plan on posting until the end. There will most likely be no election in November 2924, and once martial law is declared, all bets are off as to survival. I hope to see you on the other side of this hell on earth that's rolling towards us like a juggernaut. Meanwhile, we live. We think. We exist.

Trust me, things will get better. USSA is spending its time in hell, just like Russia did under Stalin (Well he did save the world from Hitler, there's that to say ). It may even be Russia will help the US to become a great country again.

Russia doesn't want us to be anything but a vassal state to their greatness. Our citizens just won't get it in time, if indeed they get it at all. Thanks for the hopeful words, fairbro, but I just can't see far enough ahead to find that hope.

I am not worried about Russia. Their economy is still primarily run by competing oligarchs and the war in Ukraine is sapping their military resources like crazy.

Worry about China. They are the ones who seek to supplant the US as the world's greatest superpower and they aren't shy about saying it. They aren't shy about their territorial ambitions either, as they harrass Phillippino ships daily and conduct flyby's on US aircraft carrier groups. They've even been responsible for bumping US aircraft and causing near-collisions with Chinese ships. They are belligerent and they don't care.

China is heavy on my mind. Trying to find decent items that aren't made in China is just a tiny symptom of the oriental web of tentacles woven through our entire country, from the admin to the dollar store, in our foods, our entertainment, you name it and there they are. Just remember that China and Russia have the same world idea, except for who runs it. They will work together to knock us down, then fight over who wins.

Russia could still be Americans' greatest ally.
If Trump hadn't been cheated out of the 2020 election they would be.
We have much in common with Russians and the 2 countries would be strong trading partners if the Deep State was defeated and destroyed.

The US has been Russophobic since the USSR broke up in 1991. Then the Russians thought there would be peace and a "Grand Partnership" across the Northern Hemisphere. US + Russia + Europe. Nope. The George Soros-Bill Gates Zuckerberg Bezos etc. oligarchs and Deep State, and the media amplifier, still considered Russia the boogieman of the world. Now Russia is finally saying "enough" and building relations with the rest of the planet, the 96% that is NOT the USA. Just today, Putin delivered 25000 tons of FREE grain to Somalia, an event censored, I am sure, in the Western media.

We can only hope they figure it out before we exist as simply another UN third world country. Their philosophy is not one to make an easy trading partner, yet they are closer to ours than China could ever be. Ah the strange bedfellows this Era has bred.

"Conquering the world" is a Western precept. France, Belgium, Italy, Great Britain with their colonial empires Germany under Hitler, France under Napoleon, the US/NATO after the dissolution of the USSR. Japan "went Western" after Perry opened ir up in 1853. China, Russia, India, Iran, South Africa, Brazil, etc. don't want to rule the world, they just want big-screen TV's and a Mercedes, like the rest of us! The tools are there - the internet, social media, etc for instant worldwide communication and the foundation of a planet based on understanding, not war and violence. These tools are presently being misused by a handful of insanely-rich people, but once the sunshine of Openness and Transparency illuminates the machinations of Deep State on the Potomac, the walls of "classified documents" will come tumbling down and the Deep State will crisp up, wither and die like a vampire exposed to morning sunshine.

"Conquering the world" is also shared in the dreams of Genghis Khan and those that followed him and let's not forget the ongoing "conquer the world" mentality of the followers of Islam as they dream of a planet wide caliphate. Arguably, the Aztec were on their way conquering and enslaving until the Spanish showed up. It isn't only a western precept. The western nations, so far in history, have been the most successful (sort of) in pulling it off. You will find control freaks nearly everywhere that never seem to have enough.

The irony of all this need to control by self imposed leaders is that they can't even control themselves, yet believe they can control the world

... and the Deep State with stop at nothing to prevent their loss of power.
👍 Unfortunately, imo, 'conquering the world' is more a goal of sociopathic minds and those can be in any culture or locale.

A return to individual liberty experienced by (most inhabitants of) America nearly 2 centuries ago is a worthwhile goal.
That could happen in less than a decade without the power-monger, war-loving looters and their corrupt
conspirators in charge and fomenting hate between everyone else.

Sorry, fairbro, but your post is just too pie-in-the-sky for me. It would be wonderful if those folks knew how to play nice, but their actions don't agree with their words.

My concern is what source of information do we use to form our opinion on the 'actions' you mention.
We can no longer trust the media of the west, nor the media of Russia.
What are the motivations for the actions and how can we reliably determine them?
I do not see any reliable way to determine it.
I have absolutely no trust in anything from the fedgov or the media of the west unless I can verify it.
And often, I can't verify it.

I certainly can't verify the actions of Russian leaders, but I can look at the actions of NATO and see
that if the Soviets had taken such actions near the US, the action of US leaders might be just as warlike
              as Russia on Ukraine.

ffa, neither can I verify current news and actions. I based my comment on a long history of lies and evasions by the countries in question. I have no trust in them or in my own government. I find this workd-wide dance with nukes a Dance Macabre with all partners having everything to lose. I can't stop it. I can only do what I can for myself and my close circle of friends and family whom I do trust. It's a small circle.

I saw that story somewhere else, thought it might had been from the Babylon Bee. Then I found out it wasn't. This administration's starting to piss me off. And so is my State government. It's just not funny anymore.
