MIB is the perfect meme. Of course the slime behind the face is O. Sobering, yet humorous and a good batch. Thanks again ouc!

I thought the wind up, although true, was funny - and the last one - not much of a shock when you open up the dummy....

Got it! I went to Garrison's website. The cartoon is there. A footnote says that 笨蛋 means "idiot." Google Translate, which incidentally has recently been getting much better at Latin, confirms the translation giving "fool". Figuratively it can also mean donkey. Very appropriate!

Latin? Yes, it's a good test for a translator such as Google Translate that works off a statistical model in preference to knowledge of the grammar.

We all studied Latin, didn't we? And learned a smattering of Chinese?

Here's GT's current understanding of Latin:
Canis hominem mordet. -- Dog bites man.
Canem homo mordet. -- Man bites dog.

Earlier versions would rely on word order rather than Latin grammar, and report both sentences as, "Dog bites man."

No. That would be 我们去布兰登 where the first three characters are "Let's go" and the last three are "bu lang den" for Brandon.

The red in communist flags stands for the blood to be shed for the Revolution. Because we now embrace the Fabian version of acceptance of Communism, i.e. by gradual and quasi-peaceful means instead of swords and bullets, our Fabian Communists needed to shed the bloody image. And if the left are now peaceful, the right must be bloody and bloodthirsty. Yeah. Deliberate. Could someone please do deeper research? I have to go out and feed the horses.

While we are at it, what's the two Chinese words in Ben Garrison's cartoon of the new US map? I could look them up but I don't have the time. Both look to have nine strokes.

LOL. No, it's still Red China keeping its original historic context. I wonder if this confusion was somehow deliberately planned. The left screwing with the language.

I have to check context all the time on this nonsense. Since the 1917 Bolshevik takeover of Russia the commies have been known as "reds" and free people were generally blue or some other color. Then, in the '90s or later some commie media type started calling commies (D) blue and what's left of free America (usually R) red, reversing the traditional color scheme. I wonder if some young mush between the ears will see a history book and equate Stalin with Republicans. Hum Bug, I say!

The story they told this week was compelling. There were other news stories this week but none came close to this. I just had to order them to tell it.

Biden the wind-up toy... that is about right.
Biden's face open and the reveal -- BHO... and who is behind BHO's face? Whenever Barry was off-script (think: dead teleprompter) his presentation was that of a stilted narcissistic south-side-of-Chicago low-level crime boss. Barry is just another in the parade of selected officials that occupy puppet posts.
Still -- I do appreciate your efforts to gather and share these memes. Thank you Carl.

Superimposing Red China on North America and showing Florida as Taiwan is clever except Taiwan isn't red - yet. This is where getting red and blue backwards can cause confusion to us older folks.

OUC, I had a feeling you'd get some decent milage out of the San Fran meeting, especially the cleaning it up part. I wonder if Xi picked the venue. I'm sure Xi knew exactly what was under that red carpet. Stringless dummy = priceless, as is confronting America's enemy. Xi winding up the Big Guy tells a lot of stories. A lot of truth in the last one, I'm sure.

Dear OUC: Too much of a bad thing! I need you to make me laugh, not cry. My little Fred doggie is still licking the Tarantula bite on his paw. NB
