Hopefully he will defy the Deep State and block every spending measure except that required to stop all invaders and to expel all illegals.
I'm not going to hold my breath though.

    Thanks. Instead of The Bee above, I decided to instead post one in New about the brand new speaker's family and friends being surprised to learn he was a congressman.
    Me dino did that mainly because I had never heard of him.
    Then what freedomforall wrote above provided a perfect set-up to post the one about the House helping the Democrats to burn money.

    Yes, I was rejoicing that con-gress could not do anything without a speaker.
    Hope it's not back to business as usual, looting us and bankster/war-ster pigs getting fat at the trough.

    I think if I held my breath I'd turn blue and pass out long before congress does the right thing regardless of who's speaker. That's it.

    Johnson looks pretty good for now, though!
