Linked author in reminiscing reminds me a little of Rutger Hauer’s "Tears in Rain" Blade-Runner monolog: “I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe…”

I quit my career after onerous safety regulations actually made my job less safe. There came a day where I decided “Yep…I’m outta here.” And I DID IT!

And guess who will feel this the most? Big cities who rely on daily deliveries of groceries.

Cities such as Portland and Seattle are already seeing a pinch because there are areas of the city where truckers simply won't go for fear of safety. Can you imagine how much worse it will get with this nonsense? And all this happening when there is a chronic shortage of drivers already!
