Sue Obama, or would impeachment be the proper course?

I posted this to spark some debate. What thoughts regarding suing the Ovomit Administration vs Impeachment proceedings, do you have here?
Let's see what ensues, and let us also refrain from personal jabs. Keep it on point. I look forward to reading comments.

    I would have to look up whether he could be held liable in a civil court, once he is a private citizen, for law violations while in office. Not sure it is legal. Have we any Constitution Lawyers in he Gulch?

    I don't think filing suit would work as Obama would be considered exempt from criminal or civil prosecution except by impeachment. Once he has left office (if that ever happens), he becomes a private citizen and (I think) subject to common law civil and criminal jurisdiction. Of course, by that time, the alleged crimes will have been so embedded in the American framework it might be impossible to get an indictment or cause of action under the then present laws. Comment?
