Americans Have Become Drama Queens

This will be a strange post. I've been around many decades. Enough, I think, to see firsthand how our society has changed in many ways. The last couple decades I've marveled at the feminization of men, the explosion in reality drama shows like "Real Housewives" and "Bachelorette". This, of course, got me slowly slinking away...haha. Raising my son, teaching him what a man is, has me in conflict with professional educators in our government education system. So be it.

I mentioned recently here how my transition into my Gulch location and state of mind included dropping out of all social media because I felt like watching people I care about get wrapped around the axle for crap that doesn't matter was like staring into the abyss. Well, just yesterday it struck again. I was way out on a hike with my dog to a remote lake, light rain, big pine trees and my gun on my hip (for the kitties). When I got back to my truck I had an voicemail from a beautiful lady friend of mine who informed me that there was a rumor going around back in California that she and I had slept together. (I'm happily married, FWIW). I laughed out loud, called her and said, "Don't worry about it. If anything this looks good for me because you're so gorgeous. I hope the rumor gets legs!" Both she and my wife laughed (gotta love good women). I'm so glad to be away from that whole scene. But these kind of accusations and rumors about me have been happening for years. It makes me wonder what really makes people tick. This latest one was spread by a jealous ex-husband who saw a picture of me on FB and assumed I was a philanderer. LOL... (account deleted now)

My point is that it seems that people are getting more and more interested in sex stories, other people's business. Meanwhile nobody cares about stuff that really matters (the stuff we talk about here) - at all. I really think it's as though there's "something in the water" when I see the mass stupidity that's going on, even with people I've known for years and stayed in touch with. Have you seen this with people in your lives? Do you find yourself sitting on the sidelines watching people act crazy? I am starting to think that shows like "housewives" is programming people, planting the memes, to make them nuts. I remember the first time I saw that movie "The Crazies" - about the little Kansas town where something gets in the water that turns people into violent zombies and, in the end, the place gets nuked. Haha... FWIW - I drink my water through an RO system at the house... go figure...

It's an interesting paradigm! I often think of that fantastic move "The Truman Show". That movie is fun as heck, but very deep. The bad guy in that story is society. Just a bunch of stupid shlubs with no lives of their own...

I've been mulling this over for a while, Why don't we stop blaming "America or Americans" (that's what they want you to think and say), and call it for what it is: Cultural Marxism; which, by the way, has overtaken much of the world.

I lived the first early years of my life in Houston and, unless you are a celebrity, or a politician, no one cares what you do. Then my husband moved me to this small city 25 miles from Houston also closer to Galveston. I had no idea until recently how interesting I am. I have learned there are some fascinating stories about me! I just laugh and continue on. What could possibly be so interesting about an 86 year old lady? N
