Signs to prevent bad behavior

Shrugs husband saw a sign the other night at a store that read "Please remove your mask before entering". The clerk explained that it was meant to prevent bad things from happening. If a sign can do that we wondered what other signs we should have and where we should put them. Any suggestions?

    Messages that alienate one of the two parties immediately alienate almost 50% of the population and indirectly support the two-party duopoly, which works out compromises in which they both get to keep their favorite gov't spending / intrusion.

    I say 50% b/c probably a third of the population follows one party or the other, and maybe a sixth thinks the two-party system is choreographed to resist change by channeling debate onto hot-button issues.

      as long as the message conveys reason, the only care I give to the number alienated is that it might reach 50% or higher of the population and that is for sure alarming. but to attempt to not alienate by including anti-reason in the message, surely would be ineffective in preventing bad behavior.

        Are you saying getting behind one of the two main US political parties and belittling the other conveys reason?

          nope. I'm saying a logical message on a sign should influence reasonable people. If one political party or the other has a platform which includes illogical, unreasonable positions and my sign addresses the illogical position, my sign is also possibly addressing bad behavior. there's plenty of bad behavior to go around. I can't help it if those choosing to engage in bad behavior feel alienated. that said, we all can blow off a little steam with a bumper sticker. I'm not alienated when I see a I love Obamacare sticker, but it tells me something about the person(s) who put said bumper sticker on the bumper. As well, I would not feel alienated if I saw a bumper sticker which read "you didn't build that."
          I DO feel alienated when my President says "you didn't build that" and "you are forced to HAVE Obamacare." see the difference?
