Love the banter, guys, but it's been my life experience women have a different sense of humor than guys. They may get it and give a mild chuckle to "guy humor"... or pretend to laugh... but will always file it away in permanent memory to recall at the appropriate moments... and that always brings a smile to their faces. So, I ask, are they smiling at the great joke or smiling at the leverage of future uses of same? LMAO!

As a lifetime free-range happy libertarian bachelor, the "I do" confused me... until I read the commentary from other Gulchers.

At 78, I'm losing friends faster than I can establish them; 3 cousins, a brother, two very close friends, and too many associates.

I got the same look from my wife when I read her the one about mowing the yard and fixing dinner.

If that's for real then I learn something new today. The delivery guys take a picture of it when they drop it off.

I heard about that also and I also heard from a lab tech that pressurized Ox chambers do wonders for the mentally handicapped.

    Agreed.
But there is a book, Brain Energy where we are finally learning that metabolic problems in brain energy, once fixed... Helps heal many mental problems. (Dr. Chris Palmer)

But I agree... Also, life becoming too easy. Fatherless/listless homes.
Schools... And the degradation of our society!

    Completely Agree...

There is a lot more to suicides than bad food and medicine . . . let me count the ways, Culture, psychology, politics (hiltery clintonia and georgie sorass), Economics, War/ GOVERNMENT and let us not forget excess cosmic radiation due to a very weak magnetic shield!

The life expectancy of a corrections officer is 59 essentially due to stress-related illnesses.
Retired after 21 years at a maximum security prison, I've made it 5 months past my 76th birthday.
That person who was my exact age died of a heart attack during the mid-Nineties. His job name was Sgt. Dennis Brown.
Years later a Sgt. Arthur said I had a very good record and asked why I never applied for sergeant. I said, "Dennis Brown."
As a regular officer I was known for cracking jokes.

    Kudos, OUC...
Curious... I grew up knowing about 2 suicides (by the time I was in my 20s).

That exploded in the last 10+ years. I don't think I can count them all...

I think the bad diets are responsible for a lot of mental health problems, as well... (Not to mention alcohol, and drug addiction, which claimed a few).

I too am the last of my clan save for a step nephew that I haven't seen in 20 years.

Best thing I ever did is get away from allopathic medicine and starting eating right for my blood type. It made a huge difference in my life. No, flu, no colds, etc in 35 years. Had allergies but that's not life threatening... oh, recently had shingles but didn't feel anything and it was gone in a week.

    OUC: Here's a great meme...

Have Biden on his phone, talking to Hunter in Ukraine...

Have Kamala try to interrupt about HI Fires.

Biden saying "I'm busy talking business with Hunter! Maybe in a couple of weeks..."

    LOL

I feel the same way about surviving. 2 of my besties are long gone. A Brother, parents.
So many that I went to high school with.
Cousins... And I am not yet 60...

I am grateful I found out how to be healthy (Stop listening to the doctors, big pharma, the dietitians, and especially FOOD companies).

I live life on my terms, and I accept 100% of the risk and reward of doing so.

    The ever elusive...
    Proving a Negative...

And I have a college professor who said it can't be done! (Of course, proving him wrong would require proving his statement wrong... So I gave up, LOL)

Don't you just hate it when you're shopping for some thick, juicy mastodon steaks, and the only thing the grocery store has left is mammoth burgers?
    Bummer.

Yeah, she got it. And I thought it was a lot funnier than she did. But what the hell? Sometimes we just have to do them for ourselves.

OUC, thanks as always for these funnies. Got me into trouble with my better half, however. I was laughing at the "I do", and when I read it to her, she just gave me "the look". Worth it, though.

    Yep, they're good at that! . . ."Do you remember the stupidest thing you ever said?" . . . " I DO " . . .

PS. Ignorance of the Apple's Terms and Conditions is a testament to Mankind's plight throughout the ages.
