Regardless of any pious remarks about law enforcement personnel's "deciding which laws they will and will not enforce", the fact remains that we have a Constitution in this nation, which Constitution is supposed to be the supreme law of the land--and that that Constitution proclaims that "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."-- Yes, it does mention the militia. "A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state..." You regulate the militia by keeping it in fear of the citizens.
Sheriff Allen is laudable for refusing to violate the U.S. Constitution.

She’s violated her oath of office. It’s that simple. NM GOP should be filing impeachment proceedings RIGHT NOW! They literally have NOTHING TO LOSE. Fail too act and she’ll outlaw them next. And pursuant with THEIR oaths of office IT’S THEIR DUTY.

Any State Police that attempt to enforce this will not be acting under Color of Law and should immediately be arrested by the local ELECTED sheriffs. And their appointed posse.
If a shoot out results….well…..then we’ll get this party started.
Unilateral actions such as these should be followed with swift judicial retribution. Anything less risks the foundational building blocks of this nation.
If the 2nd Amendment falls the entire document is put at risk.
This is a slippery slope and infringement cannot be tolerated.
If she is not made “an example” we can expect more of this.

She has only started her quest to ignore the Constitution she swore to uphold... that in of itself is grounds for swift removal from office...
