Excerpt:
"On Friday evening, New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) issued an emergency order suspending the right of law-abiding citizens to open and conceal carry firearms in crime-ridden Albuquerque and the surrounding county for at least 30 days, after declaring a public health emergency in response to a spate of recent gun violence.

Grisham, who apparently thinks criminals will follow her orders, says she expects legal challenges, but was 'compelled to act' following recent shootings."

First they came for the Davidians, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Davidian.

Then they came for the New Mexicans, and I did not speak out—because I was not a New Mexican.

What will it take to force people to fight for freedom before it's too late?

But here’s the thing. Ya’ll notice, not a peep from the other Newsome “like” governors? I think they are hoping that this will go by w/o hurt, a testing of the waters so to speak. I think this is an opportunity for us to demonstrate the fallacy of that position.
The NM gov needs to be slammed. Hard.
    Looks like that is happening.
Maybe there is hope that there are a lot of “us” who have had enuff of this shit.

Albuquerquean here... MOST of us are not complying. We don't give a flying fuck what the oompa loompa says.

One, the police here are understaffed and don't have time for this. Two, the police here understand that we aren't the problem.

We still have passive resistance. Active revolution won’t work against an overpowering current government. But any givernnent needs people to support it

The dope does understand, and feels she doesn't have to obey the Constitution
because very few in D.C. bother to obey it or defend it as they pledged to do.
We must fight against these evil traitors if we want them to be punished for their crimes.

Methinks that stops about the 10th time it becomes a fatal decision.
Like the Dino says... At my age, a life sentence seems like a reasonable exchange!
And, yes. We have to get to really know our neighbors, and talk about bright red lines.

Some dim-witted clown can't simply suspend the constitution at will.
What part of: "The Right to Bare Arms Shall Not Be Infringed" does this dope not understand?

I agree with you 100%. However, government at all levels seems to have no trouble at all getting any number of "loyal bullies" that are more than willing to bash down my front door and slap me and my family silly (to death if they want to) to enforce those "HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of RULES, and LIFE SUCKING TAXES.... ". It didn't happen all at once as the "We The People" frog has been warmed over for a long time now and it's getting to the point an awful lot of free thinking folks are going to have to band together to stop those bullies from bashing down my front door or yours. They pulled it off on Trump, so who are we?

The leftist bigot governor should be charged for "Accessory to Murder" if a single person dies because they were not allowed to defend themselves.

I mentioned this new "rule" to my husband, and he said basically the same thing. We have a trip coming up where we will need to drive through New Mexico (not Albuquerque, but who knows when she will expand it) and I can promise you we WILL be armed.

This is going straight to the courts, and Bruen is going to be the precedent. Love to see another overstepping totalitarian shut down hard.

That describes most politicians as with very few exceptions they have
never initiated any productive action in their lives.
    They are puny insignificant parasites.
The system that attracts them to power must end.
Reduce the centralized power to 1/1000th and the problem will be solved.
They will be attracted elsewhere and will break laws without the shield of
    government protection.

    This is our governors:

Constitution? We don't need no Stinking Constitution?

Patriots: Well, if you refuse to live by the FEW Restrictions of OUR Constitution... Then we RESCIND your right to rule over us with your HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of RULES, and LIFE SUCKING TAXES....

I've been reading up on "The Color of Law"...
When the law enforces are criminally charged for using their "Color of Law" to enforce a law that is in direct violation of the Constitution!

I no LONG Accept that the government has the right to issue so much as a CURFEW! They may ASK... They COULD apply to those under 18...

But their limit is that they could only harass people, and not arrest them, unless they are under 18 (and I am willing to lower that to 12 QUICKLY).

Part of the speculation as well is that she did it for 30 days knowing that no court case could be resolved in that time frame: that by the time the courts heard the case the provision would be over. It's a disingenuous tactic that the courts can choose to ignore and hear the case as it pertained to the law itself and not its termination, which is what I hope happens.

"She" and she suspended the right to own/use all firearms. (So-called "automatic" weapons have been "illegal" since the 70's. Several firearms groups are trying to get those laws overturned after the Bruen decision...)

Looks like another virtue signal from a clueless power grabbing commie. But then again, from a power grabbing commie's point of view, why let a crises go to waste when it can be used to grab more power?

The gov is purposefully playing 'Catch 22'. She suspends conceal and open carry for 30 days. Criminals increase their quotas since law biding citizens can not protect themselves, the murder rate climbs , then with the increase in crime and murders the gov takes further tyrannical measures to further disarm the law biding populace. Rinse and repeat....

Oh well, just another tyrant doing what all tyrants do best - slowly pushing at the boundaries of their power grab to determine just how far they can go before they have to really get nasty and heavy handed with the little peons.
