"In February 2021, an investigative team from Albuquerque TV station KOB found reports of more than
$6,500 worth of groceries bought from the governor's contingency fund, which is intended for travel or
official functions to promote the state. According to public receipts through an Inspection of Public
Records Act request, the items include anything from laundry detergent to Wagyu beef, tuna steaks,
top sirloin and hundreds of dollars in alcohol purchases."
