There is an option: materials for teaching Chinese language and culture--try the Taiwan (ROC) Education Ministry, or Mandarin Chinese education materials available through Taiwanese educational firms. (e.g. https://lmit.edu.tw/ ) They may not be as aggressive as PRC propagandists, or willing to bribe, but their materials won't be slanted toward socialism, eulogizing Mao/PRC.
