The new testament was written in the Greek language. The word huperéphania has as one of its meanings Arrogance. That line makes more sense if written "Arrogance goeth before the fall."

Pride according to Aristotle and Rand is a virtue. I agree.

Not according to James, believed to be the brother of Jesus, and the scripture of the Dead Sea Scrolls. They were devout Messianic Jews and believed the resurrection was meant to be the kingdom of God on Earth in their lifetime. Sadly, you have surrendered your mind to symbolic mythology. Go nuts!

Stick the Old Testament or the New, they contradict each other badly. Once you've achieved that milestone in your intellectual development, get back to us. In the meantime, understand that both are nothing but bits of Buddhism, Orphism, Zoroastrianism, and Egyptian cults in a stew of stupid.

    well skippy....

    God gave us 10 Laws
and as we grew up those Laws were simplified to 2 Laws

    Love God
    Love Each Other

you know, Treat each other with Respect, Treat each other as you would wish to be Treated

    that kind of things

that is is abuse by some.. yup, happens

    God gave us Free Will
evil exists as there is no Light without Darkness

    so chose a side

    example
    Jesus "This is My Body"

men made war over just what that meant
forgetting to just follow the example that Jesus set and just gather and Honor Jesus for His sacrifice, men would rather kill each other for power, hence evil

to follow the Bible does not require us to follow anything other than to follow God's Two Laws
    Love God
    :Love Each Other

and Loving God, Loving Each Other
means when we seen someone harming themselves, harming another, WE MUST at least point out that harm, if not try and stop it
or we are not following God's Laws

hence we are against the murder of the innocent unborn (notice i said murder, there can be REAL exceptions of the health of the mother when that is not can excuse for murder of the child)

Seriously offended? Your Bible? Religion is good? For what it's worth, "gay pride" has the same merit as pride derived from being "created in the image of God" - none.

N this is the 1st in a six part series. This is an orchestrated plan attacking America as we know it.
If you really want to know what’s going on it’s essential to understand the source.

Yep. I'm always amazed at how they could choose a biblical symbol, and pervert it to this extent.

Because weakly grounded superficial people must berate others to make them feel legitimate. Notice how acceptance has morphed into rigid and punitive imposition. How the demand for mutual respect has morphed into transgression and manipulation on children to groom for the future.

    It never was about acceptance.

And using a Rainbow as their symbol. Try this..."God placed a rainbow way up in the sky. A beautiful symbol so true. It's lovely colors of heavenly hue bring showers of blessings to you.
My rainbow, I cannot tell what you mean to me, with your blessings of faith, hope and charity. If I could pattern my life on your great service and love, the pot of gold I'm sure to find above.' In case this isn't familiar to you, it's the song that is sung by a girl's association at every meeting they have. I was a Charter member in my teens. N Boy was that a long time ago!
