Will the excess be stashed to the mayor's home? Silly question, of course not.
These morons are all about handling state four cancer -- forget the application of screening (close the damned borders).
Ideally the unwashed masses find a home in the spare rooms of the progressives.
This unfolding reminds me of the plot in the book The Camp of the Saints.

Didn’t we fight this during the American Revolution! We fought the “quartering act.” Let me grab my muzzle loading rifle. I will defend my home.

Never thought I'd get to see a Third Amendment case, but this could be applied. Combine that with more obvious Fifth Amendment (Takings Clause)... I mean, since the progressives/leftists are so bent out of shape calling for "emotional damages" and "triggers" I'd play that one on them...

Problem is, the people who shoud re-read it don't give a shit about it, as they see it as an impediment rather than anything even remotely positive.

    Let's see...

We have 2 spare bedrooms and 1 spare bathroom.

Four illegals in each room, at $125/night, a thousand bucks a day, assuming you live long enough to collect it.

Taking commie control of We The People's homes (not to mention our children) is the kind of ruination our Puppet-In-Chief's Marxist handlers had in mind when they instructed senile Joe to open our borders wide to illegal invaders to
    be treated with kid gloves.
Creating a few million new voters beholden to the treasonous Jackass Party was only a portion of the invasion's foreseeable outcomes~one being to wreck our economy (that effort supplemented by demands of the the climate change cult).
The ultimate goal (while they chant "Saving our democracy! Saving our democracy!) is to dismantle our Constitutional Republic to the point of no return.

The Third Amendment applies if, as is probable, a homeowner can show that involuntary tenants intend to act on any political opinions. Voting is such an action, for example.

    Open our homes...

Because YOU REFUSED to CLOSE/DEFEND our Borders?

How about Govt do it's job before ASKING MORE of it's citizens.

    On the other hand.
ILLEGALS should ONLY BE ALLOWED in Sanctuary Cities/States. And each county should be able to vote as to if they will allow Sanctuary cities to exist in their counties.

I says this KNOWING that the majority of US Counties are RED...

And if we forced ONLY the poorly run cities to live with their decisions... Then, YES, making them open their homes is perfectly acceptable.

Oh please let this happen......I can think of no more deserving group of people. To any Gulchers residing in NYC.....I’m sorry but.....WTF is wrong with you?!???

As an aside I should state that I am pulling our rental property from AirBNB and VRBO effective immediately! Lest they be requisitioned for below market rate. We will handle all bookings ourselves going forward. I advise all GULCHERS to read the writing on the wall and as The Great One himself said.....Don’t skate to where the puck is. Skate to where it’s going to be.

Some folks should re-read the Constitution. This smacks a lot of 'quartering' in our homes...a big No No!

The Daily Caller also has an article on this topic
    https://dailycallernewsfoundation.org...

But the BPR article has a number of tweets that show public reaction.

EG: "This is how communism worked for my family in Cuba. You were allowed to stay living in your house, but strangers came to move in. ..."

Yes, accepting migrants into private homes is only a "suggestion" at this point. But "suggestions" have a way of becoming enforced/coerced realities in Biden's/Mayorkas'/Adams' emergency universe.

Perhaps an expansion of the third amendment is needed.
Not that federal government would obey it.
