Stockman Slams Speaker McCarthy's 'Rotten Deal'. The GOP Is A Deep State Tool.

"So, yes, the GOP has truly earned the Stupid Party sobriquet. No ifs, ands or buts about it.
Instead of spending days negotiating over the minutia of budgetary scams, tricks and slights-of-hand, which is the entirety of the McCarthy deal, they should have been demanding from the Treasury a detailed list of scheduled payments by day for the first few weeks in June. And then, in return for continued negotiations on meaningful spending cuts and reforms, demanded assurance from the White House that enough of these due bills would be temporarily stuck in the drawer (deferred), if necessary, to ensure payment of scheduled interest, Social Security, military pay and Veterans pensions.
That is to say, McCarthy had Sleepy Joe over the proverbial barrel. But instead of applying the wood to his political backside good and hard, the Speaker chose to hold Biden’s coat and help him get back up, praising the latter’s supercilious retainers as he did so.
For crying out loud. Upwards of 96% of Uncle Sam’s cash balance had been dissipated over the past year, guaranteeing that expected June collections of well more than $500 billion would not be enough to cover 100% of the scheduled due bills. Accordingly, just a couple of days of missed payments on selective items would have turned the Washington fiscal equation upside down.
The bogeyman of “debt default” would have been completely annihilated. And the legions of interest groups, businesses and individuals who suckle on the Federal teat month-inand-month-out would have screamed to high heaven for relief, which McCarthy would have been positioned to provide to them…..at a price!"

I beg to differ with Stockman on the intent of the GOP.
They aren't stupid. They are evil tyrannical traitors.
The deal is just what the GOP has done for its entire lifetime.
They were born as corrupt corporatist thieves and they have continued to loot the People for 163 years.
The GOP and the Democrat Party must both be disbanded never to return.
They are a corrupt uniparty run by the Deep State.

If McCarthy had simply assumed less ego and pushed the issue over to the Senate on every occasion, it would have been the Democrats' disaster to preside over. McCarthy should be recalled as speaker. He failed in the single most important bill brought before him.
The Rethuglicans just lie like thieves, a disorganized band of thieves at that.
To me, the Democrats march in lockstep because they are led by a single thing: their megadonors. It's right their in their election rules. Remember, their "super-voters" took the Primary away from Bernie Sanders and gave it to Hillary Clinton, buying off Crazy Bernie in the process. These mega-donors determine how the Democrats are going to vote and control the DNC and its lucrative fundraising efforts. They were the cause of elimination of the so-called Blue Dog Democrats who were still progressive on social issues but could at least be counted on to be somewhat fiscally sane. Once the mega-donors eliminated the more reasonable element of the Democratic Party, we've seen a massive shift to the left.
The problem with the GOP is that it means different things in different places. The left are self-destructive psychopaths, but one can't say they aren't unified. The GOP is nothing of the sort. You've got the John McCains and Mitt Romneys on one side and the Ted Cruzes and Mike Lees on the other along with almost everything in between. And their fractiousness has been their downfall and their inability to govern when given the chance.
$%^& the GOP and the Democrats.
I'm not telling you you have to respect hypocrites and liars, but you paint with an absurdly large brush when you lump in every single politician with an (R) behind their name and then proceed to condemn them. Do we not based our decisions on the individual involved rather than allow ourselves to play to the hands of the elitists and measure a person based on group identity?
I respect the founders of the country for their courage and integrity in risking everything for liberty.
That is the yardstick.
This nation was culturally and ideologically an entirely different place in 1776. Having read from some of the debates they had its a wonder that august body even agreed enough to give us the Declaration of Independence. Even that Congress had trouble funding a war for independence. And then over a decade later, they came literally within a hair of abandoning the Constitution entirely. That from a group of men who agreed on basics such as the need for individual liberty but couldn't agree that a man was a man regardless one's skin color.
Our nation has changed in the past 200+ years in many ways. We've become arrogant as our innovation and industry have led the world's economy. We've abandoned the very culture of individualism and liberty that once existed. What's worse, a significant portion of the American people now support this descent into what I consider feudalism and vote for it. That's not something anyone is going to fix overnight - especially not while attempting to preserve the very freedom and liberty which allow people to choose their own enslavement!
You can be critical and set up an unrealistic standard if you wish. I merely question the reason and wisdom from such a course of action.
Still, me dino wonders whut him done got all over his hand.
Mr. Speaker, you done made me think of that Mr. Mook TV basket case detective who always needs a wipe for his hands.
FU
you had a chance to send a message
you did, to We the People
you send us a message of betrayal and hate
may you reap what you have sown
The gop is no longer the Grand Old Party of yesteryear. They are too concerned with "feelings" and today's optics...
Well, I, for one, feel betrayed!
They've done that every time since the Clinton admin when Gingrich's promises were
caved on by the GOP. They let Clinton have anything he wanted and they have been
one betrayal after another ever since. They are just a slightly different gang of the enemy.
Crips or Bloods? Dems or Reps? Bad vs Bad.
They're up to no good, that much is crystal clear.
