Excerpt:
"As of Friday, Georgia will no longer cater to "far-left prosecutors" who are soft on crime, after Republican Governor Brian Kemp signed a bill into law establishing the Prosecuting Attorneys Qualifications Commission (PACQ), part of a broader GOP thrust to get tougher on crime and make communities safer, the Epoch Times reports.

"My No. 1 priority is public safety across our state," said Kemp, whose office described the commission as a "valuable oversight mechanism" that ensures the duties of state officials are fulfilled.

The Commission will be comprised of eight members, six of whom will be current or former prosecutors, and two other lawyers, who will oversee district attorneys and solicitors general.

"The creation of the PACQ will help hold prosecutors driven by out-of-touch politics than commitment to their responsibilities accountable and make our communities safer," said Kemp.

The new commission has the authority to investigate alleged misconduct by district attorneys and solicitors-general and discipline or remove them entirely if they meet the conditions for removal, which include “willful and persistent failure to carry out statutory duties” and conduct that is “prejudicial to the administration of justice.”

Republicans across the country have pushed measures to rein in progressive prosecutors who they see as being soft on criminals by declining to prosecute certain crimes. -Epoch Times

"As hardworking law enforcement officers routinely put their lives on the line to investigate, confront, and arrest criminal offenders, I won’t stand idly by as they’re met with resistance from rogue or incompetent prosecutors who refuse to uphold the law,”" said Kemp."

GEORGIA?...the state that knowingly cheated in the 2020 election?

Yes, that's the one. The election 'management' and corrupt just-us judges apparently don't control the Republican legislature or the governor.
OTOH, Georgia's leftists also have a grand jury hand picked to accuse innocent Trump of things the leftists did.
      Politicians are sociopath slime everywhere.

They also believe that election fraud is acceptable as long as only part of it is detectable as in the quasi investigations of 2020 elect which announced that there was not enough fraud to change the results. A little dishonesty seems to be the way of life.

I can't blame the entire state when it was just a bunch of looting leftists in metro Atlanta. It has been corruptly mismanaged since the 70's and should be expelled by the rest of the state.
This is similar to foreigners blaming Americans for the irrational war-like actions done by DC politicians controlled by the deep state. NIFO.

Question for the Gulch. What good are laws if those elected to enforce them refuse to do the job they were elected to do? Laws are enacted by the Legislators and the prosecutors and judges are in place to enforce them whether or not they agree with the law. They all must take an "Oath Of Office" and failure to abide by that oath should be grounds for immediate removal. It is rather apparent that both prosecutors and judges have become far too full of themselves and their own personal ideologies for the better good.

Good question, GaryL. Maybe something good will come out of this, but cynical me isn't so sure. IMHO two things to keep in mind:
      1) The Founding Fathers attempted to lay the corner stone of a justice system, but what we have today is a legal system and the two are not the same.
      2) A standing joke I've heard in the past regarding legislators is if two bills come up for a vote addressing the same item, which one passes? Answer: The one that generates the most revenue for lawyers (and politicians, who are mainly lawyers).

What Georgia has just done is passed a law that will generate revenue for taxpayer funded lawyers to sue other taxpayer funded lawyers who will receive more taxpayer revenue to pay for their defense. This is the legal system enriching itself while pretending to actually do something that needs to be done. The oaths of office are simply formalities left over from a time of a possible justice system and are now just white wash on the legal system underneath. We'll see what happens in Georgia.

I do know I speak a foreign language to some friends, family and even some here but what good is a law or oath of office if those in charge of enforcing them are useless POS?

A very interesting read is “Understanding the Troubles” a book about the Northern Ireland conflict. It got to the point where the Unionists passed laws trying to appease the Republicans and the Republicans en masse simply refused to vote. De facto illegtimizing the vote and the entire gerrymandered system. Because the Republicans felt that it didn’t matter what laws were passed since the governing Unionists were PoS and couldn’t be trusted anyway.
The abstaining spoke more about the entire situation than a simple NO vote would have. And frankly seemed to frighten the Unionists worse. Also caused the UK to become embroiled in the conflict. To the point that London dissolved self governance for Northen Ireland. Vis a vis Stormont.
As it becomes more apparent that “voting” doesn’t matter anymore conservatives should consider this strategy. They will literally have NOTHING to lose.

We need to keep in mind that LAWS can be weaponized against us with just another box of ballots under the table at 3 am. I’m not sure LAWS are the way to combat Soros DAs. Long after George is gone we will still be fighting his big ball of fiat money.
We are regressing into a more primitive stage of political diplomacy.

I think we should do EXACTLY what we’ve done for the past 50 years that HASN’T delivered favorable results.
    Vote HARDER!
Let’s lend credibility to the systems and institutions that have failed us time and time again.
    That’ll show em’!
    It’s the American Way!

these DAs are not acting in Good Faith
they are NOT people struggling to cope with areas where crime has become rampart
those we can understand how they might be swamped and need help to cope

they are the CAUSE of rampart crime, doing so on purpose, doing so for their own political purposes, to help destroy the United States

and idiots keep voting them in

Yeah - but besides stay out of those areas what the heck can be done?? Soros and his money promise them everything - but they cannot see that it is getting worse!! How do you get sheeple to open their eyes.... or is that a lost cause?

"...but they cannot see that it is getting worse." I've wondered about that, too. Maybe it's the free stuff. The sheep don't notice the difference. As long as they are getting their daily feed and can wander around, would they notice? The farmer who has to work harder and harder and pay more and more to supply the feed knows the difference, but the sheep could care less.

That is an excellent way to put it!
The sheep don’t actually do any work. They don’t care how much harder it’s getting for the farmer to support them. Because the sheep don’t have a clear understanding of the relationship.

Maryland should follow suit. Maryland already has a working process, defined in law, that makes receiving complaints against the conduct of police officers a formal, tracked procedure and the treatment of breach of law or LEA procedure codes formal, tracked, and careful.

The St Louis DA (a Soros plant) is resigning as the state AG brought legal charges of dereliction... these legal procedures should have filed years ago. The damage has already been done.

George Soros should be executed for treason and crimes against humanity. After a lengthy session with dental drills, pliers, blowtorches and ball pein hammers.

But I won't be convinced he's dead until I see his decaying old corpse riddled with silver bullets, a wooden stake fashioned into a sign of the cross driven into his chest and have proof his head was separated from his body and buried five thousand miles away with a brick shoved in his mouth.
