The hallings are okay, but things are a mess down there. :( And it's headed my way now...

Here in the land of flowers, (Florida) a hurricane is just another no-beach day.

Uh. Well...OK. I'll share: You can have _some_ of the storm. (It is pretty damn hot here too, but my AC's are working so you can trump my cards.)

Hope it makes here to Eastern NM, the last one was only a sprinkle. We are forecast for 80% chance on Thursday and a 90% chance of rain on Friday, so hopefully. As far as Odile though, I feel sorry for the locals in Cabo. I spent 5 days there in April last year and met lots of wonderful people. The resorts got damaged, the tourists get to go home but the locals depend on those resorts for jobs. I understand Mexico sent in the army to prevent looting, I hope they also send some groups to help those local residents.

You have heard from the Hallings? They are okay?
    Good to hear...

Sounds like the reservoirs will fill up this month.
We are heading west in a few days. Hoping to get to Utah eventually but at this point maybe not.
At least the Navajo Nation at Tuba City is getting moisture. Good.

I sure wish we could get some rain here in LA. We're in a record drought. But it all goes to Phoenix which is supposed to be hot and dry.
