Mmmm Mmmm good. I couldn't believe I completely missed it the first time. The problem we have here(I'm in western PA) is that few bikers obey the rules of the road. Many go thru stop signs and don't signal. Dangerous out there.

That was pretty impressive... I've driven in London (and my stepdaughter, who lives there, rides a bike almost everywhere) it's a SCARY experience... and no, I'm not talking about driving on the left part, but the general disarray of everyone everywhere - I think the ad (surprisingly good to come out of a socialist gub'mint) hit home. If you're riding on the sidewalk and maintaining sidewalk speeds (5mph), it's better to ride against traffic and obey the rules for pedestrians.

If you're riding on the road, you have to obey the traffic laws for vehicles.

Bicycles are a special vehicle in the eyes of the law in that you go back and forth between pedestrian and vehicle, and you can drive them as a vehicle without a license.
