Texas... Where BBQ isn't a Sauce...
    It's a way of life.
It's an approach to handling meat properly.
Light on the seasoning, heavy on the grill/smoke...

Drove 10 from Phoenix to San Antonio about 15 years ago picking up our FedX van. Beautiful drive, didn't have time to stop and smell the tacos. Enjoy your trip and stay safe! At least you'll be well north of some vile nastiness. Avoid San Antonio and Austin.(Edited for additional comment)

Having lived in Texas, and many other parts of the West, I can say enjoy! You will never forget nor stop yearning for the food. We used to eat in Mexico and even bought our beef for there, best meat of anywhere we ever lived! Love Mexican food, just had to watch not to drink water. Everything form Tacos to enchiladas, and in NM, MeNavajo tacos, meals at La Placita in Old Albuquerque.

They make the Henry boots there too and I want a pair of them. Yeah, yeah, yeah...I wanna see that suspension bridge across the Lower Colorado River. I may walk across it but I wouldn't drive across it. No, no.. a bridge that moves with you? Uh uh.
