"Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson filed a separate opinion concurring with the Supreme Court’s judgment. Justice Neil Gorsuch joined her concurring opinion."

The SCOTUS has the power to force the fedgov to OBEY the constitution and they do nothing.
They are TRAITORS.
DC is filled with TRAITORS and can't be reformed. NIFO

It is the worst! Woodrow Wilson was also one of the worst. Total POS, and the most highly educated president. Shocking they go hand-in-hand

It wasn’t a political thing. It was a Socialist power thing in those days.

“Personal property . . . is subject to the general right of the community to regulate its use to whatever degree the public welfare may require it.”

    —Theodore Roosevelt

“[W]e are not bound to adhere to the doctrines held by the signers of the Declaration of Independence. . . . Government does now whatever experience permits or the times demand.”

    —Woodrow Wilson
    Theodore and Woodrow
    Andrew Napolitano

The wording was straight out of Karl Marx’s Manifesto of The Communist Party

“…1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
    2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
    3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance…”

The Sixteenth Amendment was written by dictators for dictators. It had nothing to do with politics or political ideals.

Well even Supremes can be replaced. I do believe The Constitution provides Supremes may serve 'In "time of good behavior". Let them stub their toe and they too can be made gone. N

At this point any act of treason~including judicial rulings~ against We The People of our dying Constitutional Republic does not surprise me in the least.

I still think Gorsuch is the best of the present justices. His argument that the powers are limited to this narrow case will be lost in the future.

Thank the Republicans under the Taft Administration for this language. Idiotic wording, mainly motivated in revenge on some New York guy who was vexing Congress. Congratulations on writing the most powerful amendment compromising freedom in the Constitution! Unlimited fiscal (=unlimited) power to the Federal Government. Totally unchecked.

    Proving my Blackpilled stance.
Even the ones that allegedly “Get it” are actually against us.
There is no recovery from this political nosedive.

I don't recall ever having it, but my grandparents might have as children.
Serfdom just crept in slowly under a cover of "glorious" history and propaganda.

Indeed. To rephrase a famous dialog:

Citizen: "Mr. Franklin, what have you done?"
Benjamin Franklin: "Gained freedom, if you can keep it"

It's amazing how a line bamboozled into the Constitution under the fraudulent mantra "Tax the rich! Tax the rich!" has blossomed into some 80 thousand pages of convoluted verbiage demanding a trillion dollars sucked out of GDP annually just to comply. It enslaved us all.

If I recall when it passed a congressman who urged to vote against it even declared something like, "You fools! Someday we may be taxed as much as 4% !"

Yes, the increase in government corruption started in 1913 and the SCOTUS should have declared it a fraud at that time.

Text of the 16th Amendment 1913 - The year America died.

"The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."

There are no limits on how much of one's income Congress could tax. No limits on the level of force people in government could apply to enforce this Amendment. In reality it says that those people in government own your income and, by extension, own you. Slavery, once again, was legal in America. All SCOTUS decisions after its enactment, including this one, are merely footnotes.
